This role leads the API Product Team and by extension the API Data Exchange ART to deliver API integrations with leading HR technology firms. This role will lead Product for the API Data Exchange ART working with leading HR Technology companies to build API connectivity to provide superior experiences to our mutual customers. This role will manage the Product Owners and Business Solution Architects for the API Data Exchange ART, working closely with our IT partners to deliver business value.

The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 - $168,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.

- Lead: Manage the API DE Product team and create viable, sustainable plans aligned with business expectations.
- Create: Develop program-level objectives and key results that connect business goals with prioritized epics.
- Oversee: Ensure each Program Increment delivers maximum value, aligned with product strategy and key milestones.
- Manage: Refine, prioritize, and accept work across the agile release train to meet defined customer and business needs.
- Develop: Build roadmaps and maintain a well-defined backlog of features, ensuring alignment on priorities and dependencies.
- Coordinate: Facilitate key meetings, manage stakeholder expectations, and incorporate feedback from multiple sources.
What You Need to Succeed
- Ability to understand customer and business needs and identify applicable technology solutions.
- Maintains stability and enables solutions through feedback.
- Leadership in shaping and defining agile roadmaps.
- Skills in prioritizing features, tracking metrics, and communicating objectives.
- Strong negotiation and decision-making abilities.
- Synthesizes input from diverse perspectives, not influenced by hierarchy.
- 5+ years' experience of Group Benefits or HR Technology experience with a preference towards product, operations, IT, distribution and partner management experience.
What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)
- Bachelor's degree; technical degree preferred.
- Understanding of the LIMRA LDEx data standards.
- Agile and HCM Certifications (SAFe, Workday Pro, etc.).
- Prior experience integrating APIs with HCM and/or Ben Admins for exchanging Policy, Eligibility and/or Absence information.
- Prior experience integrating APIs with Agency Management and/or Quoting and Rating platforms.
