The Opportunity

FoundersCard is hiring a Director, Benefit Partnerships to lead our Business Benefits portfolio.

This is a senior commercial partnerships role for someone who knows how to identify great opportunities, build executive relationships, negotiate strong deals, and turn partnerships into measurable business results. Reporting to the VP, Partnerships & Experiences, you’ll own the strategy and commercial performance of the Business Benefits vertical—from pipeline development and partner sourcing through negotiation, launch, renewals, and expansion.

What You'll Own

-Own the strategy, growth, and commercial performance of the Business Benefits portfolio.
-Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of brands and services relevant to founders, entrepreneurs, and business leaders.
-Lead partnerships end-to-end: prospecting, negotiation, contracting, launch, activation, renewal, and expansion.
-Structure compelling commercial partnerships that balance member value, partner ROI, and FoundersCard economics.
-Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key partner stakeholders.
-Drive revenue growth, renewals, expansion, engagement, and utilization across the portfolio.
-Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Member Services, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and other teams to bring benefits to life and optimize performance.
-Use revenue, engagement, conversion, utilization, and other performance data to make portfolio and partner decisions.
-Identify opportunities to improve underperforming partnerships and strengthen the overall portfolio.
-Build scalable processes and best practices for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and managing partnerships as the business grows.

What you bring

-8+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, sales, account management, or another commercial role.
-A track record of building and managing strategic partnerships, including prospecting, negotiation, renewals, expansion, and revenue ownership.
-Experience owning a business vertical, portfolio, or significant area of responsibility.
-Strong commercial judgment and negotiation skills.
-Confidence building relationships and leading strategic conversations with senior and executive-level stakeholders.
-Strong cross-functional leadership and project management skills.
-Highly organized, detail-oriented, and operationally disciplined.
-Comfortable working autonomously, making decisions, and taking ownership in a fast-moving environment.
-Entrepreneurial, proactive, and motivated by building something meaningful—not just managing an existing book of business.

What success looks like

You’ll build a high-performing Business Benefits portfolio with:

-A strong, differentiated pipeline of prospective partners.
-High-quality partnerships that deliver meaningful value to members.
-Growing partner revenue, engagement, and utilization.
    -Strong renewal and expansion rates.
    -Improved partnership economics over time.
-Strategic partners who see FoundersCard as a valuable growth channel.
-A scalable partnership function that can grow with the business.
