Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiations, and closing
- Activate a network of new and existing relationships to generate and expand business opportunities within an assigned territory
- Utilize strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to highlight the compelling value proposition of joining the ANA to all external stakeholders
- Apply data, insights, and CRM intelligence to enhance partner value propositions, refine targeting and pipeline management, and strengthen revenue forecasting and decision-making
- Lead with emotional intelligence, resilience, and ability to perform under high pressure and ambitious targets
- Research new business opportunities across all industries, digging deeper into their marketing teams and structures to identify key contacts
- Remain updated on the ANA’s offerings, industry knowledge and best practices
- Adhere to ANA’s vetting process for new member acquisitions (eligibility, requirements, approval, etc.)
- Stay closely attuned to trends across the marketing industry while monitoring the competitive landscape
- Produce regular reports on sales activity, conversion rates, KPIs, and acquisition and revenue forecasts
- Partner with internal teams to ensure development strategies enhance the prospect experience
- Continuously update and maintain accurate records of prospective members
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual membership sales targets
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the Head of Business Development
- Travel as required to meet with members and prospects
Professional Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and strong sales and marketing background with ability to develop solid relationships with C-Suite and marketing leaders (minimum 5 -7 years)
