Aras is a leader in product lifecycle management (PLM) and digital thread solutions. As one of the fastest growing PLM companies, our technology enables the rapid delivery of flexible solutions built on a powerful digital thread backbone and a low-code development platform.

Our platform and PLM applications connect users in all disciplines to critical product data and processes across the lifecycle and throughout the extended supply chain. The world’s largest manufacturers are leveraging Aras Innovator to manage their complex product lifecycles to improve production timelines, meet and exceed revenue growth targets, and accelerate innovation. We collaborate with companies in some of the most innovative industries, including automotive, industrial/heavy equipment, aerospace and defense, and high-tech electronics.

Our go-to-market teams (Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success) want to operate with more data visibility and AI fluency, but the data to make that possible is fragmented and not yet trustworthy enough to act on. This role exists to fix that, and to use it to drive real GTM optimization: identifying and closing funnel leakage, understanding what actually improves win rate, and building genuine data fluency and AI adoption across teams that don't report into this organization.

This is an outcomes-first role. You'll have one direct report and no near-term plan to grow the team significantly. We're hiring for someone who can take fragmented data and turn it into decisions GTM leaders actually act on. You don't need to be the deepest technical builder in the room, but you do need enough technical fluency to be credible, plus the communication skill to make data usable for people who aren't data people. Leadership will actively help open doors and help teams that need to prioritize this work.

This role is also our primary internal voice on how we use AI across go-to-market, not just building AI tools, but teaching and evangelizing AI fluency across Sales, Marketing, and CS so adoption actually sticks.

Key Responsibilities

  • GTM data visibility & optimization - turn fragmented GTM data into clear visibility on funnel performance, identifying where leakage happens and what's actually driving (or hurting) win rate
  • Data fluency & AI adoption across GTM - be the driving force behind Sales, Marketing, and CS becoming genuinely data-forward teams, including hands-on enablement, training, and evangelism, not just building tools and hoping they get used
  • Data migration & cleanup - leading the work (with your direct report and functional Ops teams) of getting GTM data into a modern, trustworthy data platform, in partnership with IT
  • AI strategy and enablement - be the driving internal voice on how we use AI across go-to-market: which use cases are worth building, which tools fit our stack, and how we sequence adoption
  • Cross-functional data adoption -  help drive functional Ops teams to prioritize migrating and cleaning their data. Leadership will help remove roadblocks and apply pressure where needed
  • Proactive, strategic dashboard/reporting design - anticipate what the business will need to see before it's asked for, and surface insights on your own initiative
  • Partnership with IT on infrastructure, security, and access considerations as data migrates
  • Managing one direct report who handles much of the hands-on technical build work

What Success Looks Like in the First 6-12 Months

  • Measurable movement on a GTM outcome e.g., a documented reduction in funnel leakage at a specific stage, or a data-backed change that contributed to improved win rate
  • Visible adoption of AI tools and data fluency practices by at least one team outside RevOps - not just built, but genuinely used
  • A clear, prioritized migration roadmap. Define which data moves first, and why (partnering with IT and each Ops team)
  • At least one instance of proactively surfacing a dashboard, metric, or insight that leadership didn't explicitly ask for

Candidates should have...

  • A track record of using data to change a GTM outcome - improving a conversion rate, catching funnel leakage, or otherwise making a sales, marketing, or CS team measurably more effective through data
  • Strong communication and teaching ability - able to make data and AI concepts land with non-technical GTM stakeholders, and to build genuine fluency and adoption, not just tools that sit unused
  • Solid working knowledge of modern data platforms (Microsoft Fabric/Synapse or comparable) - enough to be credible and to partner effectively with IT and your technical direct report, though deep hands-on architecture experience is a plus rather than the primary bar
  • Genuine, current fluency with AI tools and workflows - hands-on experience actually driving AI adoption inside a team or function, with informed opinions on what's worth building versus what's hype
  • Comfortable engaging with cross-functional stakeholders - able to make the business case for a data or AI investment and hold your own in that conversation
  • Comfort managing one direct report closely and hands-on, without needing a larger team to feel senior in the role
  • Ability to maintain reasonable working-hours overlap with a US Eastern-based team, even though this role is fully remote

This role is hired first for outcomes — the person who can turn GTM data into visibility, fluency, and measurable performance improvement across Sales, Marketing, and CS. Technical fluency matters and you'll partner closely with a hands-on technical analyst, but you don't need to be the deepest builder in the room. If you're energized by making data and AI genuinely useful to people who aren't data people, and by proving that value through real business outcomes, this is designed for you.
