Working at Drawbridge
We are leading the industry in cybersecurity for alternative investments.  At Drawbridge, we are committed to attracting and retaining the best individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment. You will be joining an agile team that will help you at every level of your career to identify and use your strengths to grow. This is an opportunity to work at a company that is open to new ideas as we build a diverse environment for our employees. The work will be challenging and rewarding.
About the Role
This role will be fully accountable for the enterprise systems, data foundations, and workplace technology that let the company - including go-to-market, finance, services and product teams - operate at speed. That means the applications people use every day, the data that moves between them, the reporting layer leadership makes decisions from, and the laptops and networks everyone logs in to. Management of the team who are accountable when a report can't be generated, a BI dashboard isn’t updating, or a new hire's device isn't ready on day one.
The company data/systems vary in levels of maturity from manual to scalable. In both cases, the need for operation resiliency is a minimum requirement.
Areas of Accountability
Team leadership and growth. You'll lead the business systems and IT team directly. Your responsibilities will include setting priorities, mentoring, and developing your team so their skills keep pace with the tools and demands of a growing business.
The enterprise application suite. CRM/Salesforce, ERP and financial systems and various departmental tools. You'll own the roadmap for each, run the evaluation and implementation cycles, manage the vendor and licensing relationships, and make the buy-vs-build-vs-consolidate calls. In addition, you'll drive the training and change management that gets people actually using what you've built or bought.
Internal Data as a company asset. You'll own the pipelines that consolidate operational data for internal stakeholders and the governance that gives us confidence in its accuracy. Establishing a single source of truth for client account data and the stewardship model to maintain it, is a must have.
Integration and process automation. Most of the value sits between systems, not inside them. You'll design the flows that carry records from opportunity to invoice to renewal, remove the manual re-keying that slows teams down, and set standards for how new systems get connected.
Enterprise IT and the workplace. Company devices, identity and access management, corporate network, collaboration tooling, endpoint protection, and the support functions behind them. You'll define onboarding and offboarding as a reliable process and set service expectations that are actually met. You will also ensure that employees are supported in a timely and professional manner.
Security and compliance for the internal asset. Access reviews, least-privilege enforcement, data handling policy, and evidence-gathering when required for audits, etc. Frameworks include SOC2, ISO27001, GDPR, etc.  You'll work closely with the CISO and product-side security on this function.
Business continuity and disaster recovery. You'll own backup and recovery for the enterprise systems and data under this role, set recovery targets that match the business's actual tolerance for downtime, and make sure the plan is tested, not just written.
Boundaries and Interfaces
The customer-facing platform, its infrastructure, and its engineering roadmap sit inside the CTO's organization. This role does not own or work within that platform. What this role does own is the integration points where platform data crosses into the business side, most importantly, subscription and account records that drive CRM and finance data, and by extension, access. Customer and subscription records need to land cleanly in the CRM and finance systems, and this role owns that interface from the business side: defining what's needed, agreeing on contracts and SLAs with platform engineering, and making sure the flow is reliable and appropriately controlled.
We're Looking For:
  • Meaningful experience owning enterprise systems at a company going through growth
  • Hands-on depth in at least one major platform, with Salesforce administration and architecture particularly relevant here, plus working knowledge of how finance systems and BI tooling fit around it.
  • Track record running enterprise IT — device management, identity providers, endpoint security — either directly or through a team and managed service partners.
  • Commercial judgement on vendors: negotiating contracts and controlling spend.
  • Credibility with senior stakeholders, and the ability to translate between business needs and a technical solution.
  • Comfort operating in the gap between strategy and execution.
Experience
  • 8+ years in business systems, enterprise IT, or business operations leading a function or team, including budget and vendor accountability
  • Supported an organization of 80+ employees and contractors through a period of growth
  • Owned a portfolio of 20+ SaaS applications
  • Held a SaaS and IT budget with real negotiating authority
  • Managed people directly
