Are you ready to join the programmatic evolution?

As the Director of Buyer Development – Brand Direct, you will turn your strong relationships with brands into strategic partnerships that drive growth for Index Exchange. This role requires someone who is active in the market, with the ability to develop effective client interactions to foster a better working relationship, collaboration, and overall partnership with marketers.
You are a consultative seller, focused on solving your customers’ business needs. You can develop new relationships by networking through our established customer base as well as from scratch. You are a natural leader comfortable mentoring sellers and account managers alike.

Here’s What You’ll be Doing:

  • Leading a customer portfolio with a focus on identifying revenue growth within brand direct relationships
  • Mentoring, developing, and supporting other sellers working on brand direct business, when applicable
  • Helping to launch emerging products and selling our strong suite of offerings to clients
  • Establishing and maintaining partnerships with major brands’ central teams, including owning the strategic relationships with leadership within direct brands
  • Monitoring region pacing and activity using internal tools, including Salesforce and Looker
  • Participating in quarterly business planning inclusive of your region’s bottom-up revenue forecasting, identifying revenue growth opportunities and necessary resources needed to support growth
  • Working with the Marketing team, and other internal stakeholders, to identify marketing strategies to expand brand presence
  • Owning all data, reporting, and regular communications of your brands to the leadership team.

Here's What You Need:

  • 6+ years' experience selling to agencies and brands with at least 2+ years directly working in the programmatic landscape
  • Experience developing sales strategies that drive growth across a complex customer mix
  • Deep customer relationships within Holding Companies, their agencies, and most importantly – a variety of brands
  • Experience working collaboratively with other sellers. Experience managing a team would be an asset.

The base salary for this role is $172,000 to $212,000. The total compensation package may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills and experience. ​​
