As our Director of Commercial Strategy, you will work closely with the Founder & CEO to be the strategic engine behind our company’s growth. This role will translate Maiden Home’s growth goals into actionable commercial plans across Sales, Retail, and Product teams. You will partner closely with our cross-functional leaders in Sales, Retail and Product to optimize performance and unlock new opportunities in our rapidly scaling business. An ideal candidate will be a natural leader that builds strong, trusting relationships with cross-functional partners and has a knack for prioritizing what will impact results.

This role is located at our New York headquarters, located in the TriBeCa design district. 
 

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with Founder & CEO on growth tactics and levers to prioritize for Sales, Retail, and Product divisions.
  • Act as the champion of our commercial channels (Retail, Sales, Product) by working with these department leaders to structure solutions that will unlock revenue growth, shape business cases and actions plans, and drive solutions to the finish line.
  • Work closely with consumer-facing department leaders on actions and priorities that will drive their respective teams' revenue growth by i) meeting with them regularly ii) distilling the most important updates and decisions to the Founder & CEO and iii) translate the consumer expertise into cross-functional actions.
  • Implement consistent operating rhythms (QBRs, weekly performance reviews, cross-functional planning) and dashboards/reporting structures that provide a clear view of channel health and drive accountability and revenue performance.
  • Partner with Finance to align commercial initiatives with budgeting, forecasting, and profitability targets.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making paired with strong brand and client intuition.
  • Prepare executive-ready materials, including board-level updates, growth narratives, and scenario planning.
  • Ensure that promotions, launches, and campaigns are commercially sound, measurable, and aligned with margin and brand objectives.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial strategy, revenue operations, management consulting, growth, or similar roles.
  • Experience in consumer, retail, e-commerce, or luxury/home categories strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record developing and executing revenue growth strategies in a scaling environment.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; comfortable building models, translating data into insights, and making recommendations.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to move seamlessly between high-level strategy and detailed execution.
  • Exceptional communication skills—able to simplify complexity and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial instincts and operational rigor.
  • Highly collaborative, low-ego leader who builds trust quickly.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities in a growth-stage company.    
  • Deep customer orientation, with sensitivity to luxury brand standards and experience.
