SALARY: $157,440 - $186,960, bonus and long-term incentive eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Head of the Brand, the Director of Communications – NUTRL will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance NUTRL’s image and engage its target audience. This role involves overseeing all internal and external communications, collaborating with internal stakeholders, leading all aspects of content creation, reviewing social posts and activations across various channels, and leader of the integrated marketing campaign (IMC) process to manage all agency partner relationships to ensure timely content delivery.

The ideal candidate will excel in cross-functional collaboration, focusing on creative ideation and development. This role involves guiding creative work across various channels like social, earned, digital, OOH, TV, and trade, while supporting national and local partnerships programs with strategic and creative insights. A passion for bold, innovative marketing and the ability to create compelling narratives that resonate with consumers are essential.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Passionate Communication: Demonstrate a passion for creative communication and embrace innovative approaches. Utilize in-depth knowledge of the product & category to craft authentic messages that resonates with consumers.

  • Creative Thinker: Generate impactful ideas for signature stories for brands, the marketing team, and Anheuser-Busch.

  • Digital First: Expertly leverage online channels to enhance brand awareness and drive purchase intent, creating compelling and engaging content that effectively resonates with the target audience. Possess strong media expertise with a sophisticated understanding of social media.

  • Real-Time Storytelling: Excel in real-time storytelling, leveraging cultural moments to boost brand relevance and engagement. Translate business objectives into proactive, positive narratives that enhance brand health and reputation.

  • Commercial Mindset: Develop and maintain a commercial mindset to connect and deliver messages with consumer empathy. Ensure communication strategies align with business objectives and drive engagement and sales.

  • Collaborative Leadership: Collaborate effectively with internal teams while leading agency partners.

  • Strategic Participation: Play an active role in brand strategy and campaign planning meetings.

  • Campaign Development: Develop and execute large-scale integrated campaigns.

  • Cultural Insight: Maintain a keen interest in popular culture, sports, innovation, social media, and consumer behavior trends.

  • Agency Collaboration: Lead agency of record & other creative agencies day-to-day; collaborate with them in planning and executing campaigns.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of communications experience, either in-house or at a PR / creative agency, or as a Brand Manager at other companies.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on communications, journalism, literature, or writing.

  • Proven experience in developing and executing impactful campaigns and programs that generate earned media coverage and spark social conversations.

  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, with the ability to develop insights that drive effective marketing strategies.

  • Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic and evolving environment.

  • Strong ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally within a large organization.

  • Demonstrated track record of implementing time-saving routines and delivering sustainable change.
