The Director of CoreWeave University will take a strong starting vision and turn it into a global ecosystem for learning, development, and career growth. This role owns the strategy and execution of CoreWeave University and, over time, becomes the primary owner of how that vision comes to life across the company, in close partnership with the VP, People and the Chief People Officer. This is not a traditional learning and development role. It is a builder role that blends strategy with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment. The Director is responsible for building and leading the CoreWeave University, including defining team structure, hiring and developing talent, and establishing clear ownership and operating rhythms as it scales.
This role reports to the VP, People and works closely with the Chief People Officer, People Business Partners, People Operations, Talent, Internal Communications, and senior leaders across corporate and data center environments. It is a highly visible role with meaningful influence as CoreWeave scales globally.

What you will own and deliver
- Evolve and own the strategy for CoreWeave University, translating business priorities into clear programs and systems.
- Scale and globalize the data center technician apprenticeship program and other early-career pipelines.
- Expand internal mobility, growth, and future leader programs that create real opportunity and readiness.
- Build differentiated learning experiences for corporate and data center employees.
- Own the learning ecosystem end to end, including LMS strategy, governance, adoption, and integration into daily work.
- Set standards for required and compliance-related training in partnership with People Operations and other owners.
- Partner closely with People Business Partners to strengthen leadership expectations and performance.
- Build foundational manager development aligned to CoreWeave’s pace and high-performance bar.
- Operate CoreWeave University with a clear cadence for prioritization and iteration.
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing global team by defining roles, hiring talent, establishing clear ownership, and developing leaders within the function.
- Leverage modern tools, including AI, to personalize learning and scale impact.
- Stay personally connected to the work while building a function that can scale.
- Create clarity and momentum in environments that are still evolving.
- Set clear ownership and decision rights and deliver with consistency.
- Move quickly, learn fast, and adapt as the business changes.

- Define the target team structure and begin hiring for critical roles to support near-term delivery.

CoreWeave University is a long-term investment in our people, our culture, and our future. The base salary range for this role is $182,000 to $242,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace
While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
