Forbes is seeking a Director of Creator Operations who will build and optimize the operational infrastructure that powers our Creator Network ecosystem. You will partner closely with Creators and Strategic Operations of Video and Social leadership to streamline internal processes, accelerate business velocity, and turn ambitious creative concepts into highly efficient operational realities. You will serve as the bridge between business strategy and execution, ensuring our legal, financial, and cross-functional partnerships are seamlessly managed to support our rapid growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for the Legal team, managing contract pipelines and accelerating internal approval workflows to close creator and other strategic business deals in a timely manner. 
  • Podcast Acquisition: Oversee end-to-end operational support for podcast acquisitions and new creator-led media expansions, ensuring smooth evaluation, negotiation, onboarding and integration.
  • Cross-Functional Operations: Partner directly with cross-functional teams (Finance, Production, Product, Legal, Sales, Live Events) to manage workflows and approval processes and eliminate operational bottlenecks to help the team move faster.
  • New Revenue Initiatives: Lead the strategic operational planning and execution for new B2C and B2B creator-led business concepts.
  • Process Optimization: Establish, standardize, and scale backend workflows to efficiently support a growing network of high-profile creators and original intellectual property (IP).

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience: 8-10 years of business operations or business development experience, with a strong preference for a proven track record within the creator economy, digital media, or talent management industries.
  • Operational Mindset: You excel at turning ambiguity into highly organized, scalable systems and are comfortable driving structure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contract Lifecycle Expertise: Proven experience navigating complex contract workflows and working hand-in-hand with internal legal teams and business leadership.
  • Entrepreneurial Drive: Experience or a strong interest in launching digital content programs and products, and managing new business lines from scratch.
  • Exceptional Collaborator: An expert at cross-functional communication who can influence across departments to unblock projects and accelerate timelines.

The annual base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $165,000.
