New York, NYOverviewThe Director of Creator Strategy & Partnerships will lead the development and execution of VETTE’s creator ecosystem as a core component of the brand’s audience growth, content strategy, and commerce performance.
This role is responsible for establishing a scalable creator program that integrates talent into editorial, social, and shopping experiences, while also driving measurable business outcomes including engagement, conversion, and revenue contribution.
The Director will oversee creator partnerships end-to-end, including talent strategy, program design, storefront merchandising, performance analytics, and cross-functional coordination. The role requires both strategic leadership and operational ownership, and will manage resources, external relationships, and internal processes to ensure the creator program supports VETTE’s long-term brand and business objectives.
While the role will collaborate with broader Condé Nast teams when relevant, its primary mandate is the growth and performance of VETTE.
Core Responsibilities1. Creator Program Leadership
Define and implement VETTE’s creator strategy across content, audience, and commerce initiatives
Build a scalable program structure including talent tiers, partnership models, onboarding processes, and performance expectations
Establish governance for creator selection, brand alignment, and content standards
Oversee creator contracts, compensation structures, and relationship management
2. Talent Strategy & Partnership Oversight
Identify, recruit, and retain creators aligned with VETTE’s positioning and growth priorities
Structure partnership models (retainer, project-based, revenue share, licensing, etc.) in collaboration with legal and finance
Manage long-term creator relationships and ensure consistent performance and brand alignment
Develop frameworks for integrating creators into editorial franchises, social programming, and brand initiatives
3. Creator Storefront Strategy & Merchandising
Own the strategy and operational framework for creator storefronts and shopping integrations
Partner with commerce and editorial teams to ensure product selections reflect both brand standards and performance goals
Establish merchandising guidelines for creator edits, seasonal collections, and campaign-driven assortments
Oversee testing and optimization of storefront formats to improve conversion, AOV, and repeat engagement
4. Insights, Analytics & Performance Management
Define KPIs for creator programs across content, audience, and commerce performance
Implement reporting frameworks to measure:
Creator content reach and engagement
Storefront performance and revenue contribution
Audience acquisition and retention impact
Translate performance data into actionable recommendations for talent mix, content strategy, and merchandising decisions
Provide regular performance updates to senior leadership
5. Cross-Functional Leadership
Serve as the central point of coordination for creator initiatives across editorial, audience, commerce, product, marketing, and partnerships teams
Ensure creator initiatives are integrated into business planning cycles and brand priorities
Partner with revenue teams to support the inclusion of creators in advertiser-facing opportunities where appropriate
6. Team & Resource Management
Build and manage a team supporting creator partnerships and program execution
Establish workflows and processes that allow the creator program to scale efficiently
Manage external vendors or agencies as needed
Contribute to budget planning for creator partnerships and program investment
6-8 years of experience in digital media, creator partnerships, talent management, social/video strategy, or commerce-driven content environments
Experience building and scaling creator or talent programs with measurable business impact
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
Strong understanding of social platforms, creator monetization models, and audience growth strategies
Experience using analytics to guide strategic decisions and resource allocation
Experience managing teams and external partners
Familiarity with fashion, lifestyle, or shopping-driven media strongly preferred
The expected base salary range for this position is from $125,000 - $145,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
