DescriptionThe Director of Solutions Engineering - Data Solutions will drive strategy, execution, and customer success for Verily’s most complex enterprise deployments, while shaping how AI and advanced analytics are applied to accelerate discovery. In this role, you will set the vision, influence the product roadmap, and serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders across pharma, research, and government, ensuring Verily’s solutions directly advance our mission of precision health.
ResponsibilitiesEstablish and scale a center of excellence for enterprise scientific and data solutions, positioning Verily as a partner of choice for provider, life sciences, and research organizations.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing technical solutions team, attracting top talent and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and impact.
Drive successful execution of complex enterprise programs, ensuring flawless delivery from design through launch and ongoing operations.
Build and deepen executive-level relationships with customers and industry leaders, representing Verily as a thought leader across the biomedical and healthcare data ecosystem.
Shape Verily’s technical strategy by maintaining expertise in AI, healthcare data, and regulatory compliance, and by directly influencing the product and platform roadmap.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer/data science, engineering, or life sciences.
10+ years of leadership experience developing healthcare and life sciences technologies.
Proven ability to build and scale high-impact technical teams and deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
Demonstrated success in partnering with senior customer stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise across multiple health data modalities (omics, imaging, biomarkers, claims, SDOH) and their application to research and care.
Deep understanding of research workflows, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Track record of applying advanced AI/ML techniques (LLMs, NLP, generative AI) to health data at scale.
Executive-level experience with cloud platforms, data pipelines, and enterprise integration.
Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders across technical, scientific, and commercial domains.
This role is eligible for Verily-sponsored immigration support.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $208,000 - $276,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
