Position Summary: The Director of Digital Marketing owns the infrastructure, systems, lifecycle, and performance of all WLG digital assets. This role ensures that digital assets are built, stored, deployed, optimized, governed, and measured with operational excellence across platforms, markets, and channels. This is an operations and performance–focused leadership role. It is not a brand storytelling or creative role. The core mandate is to maximize efficiency, scalability, compliance, and ROI across the entire digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Asset Management & Infrastructure Ownership
- Own and manage WLG’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) ecosystem, including oversight of six websites and future expansions.
- Lead vendor assessments, selection, and ongoing relationship management.
- Define and manage the technical architecture of all websites and digital platforms.
- Ensure all digital assets meet requirements for legal compliance, privacy standards, accessibility (ADA), security, and governance.
- Websites, Landing Pages, and Micro-Sites
- Oversee the build, publishing, maintenance, and optimization of websites, landing pages, and micro-sites.
- Direct the content update process to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely deployment.
- Manage and optimize conversion flows, user journeys, and site performance.
- Performance, Analytics & Optimization
- Track performance of all digital assets, including:
- Conversion rates
- Engagement metrics
- Traffic quality
- Efficiency and cost performance
- Translate performance data into:
- Actionable execution improvements
- Optimization plans
- ROI reporting for leadership
- Ensure assets are platform-ready, reusable, and optimized for omnichannel distribution.
- Track performance of all digital assets, including:
- Paid Media, SEO, and Digital Campaigns
- Manage the execution of digital media buys across channels.
- Lead paid media strategy, SEO initiatives, and performance-driven campaign execution.
- Ensure creative assets meet platform specifications, are delivered on time, and can be rapidly iterated.
- Monitor and report on media buy performance, including:
- Conversion outcomes
- Channel efficiency
- Engagement metrics
- ROI and recommendations for optimization
- Operational Leadership & Innovation
- Conduct and manage operational workflows for both internal teams and external partners/agencies.
- Drive digital marketing innovation, identifying new opportunities, tools, and technologies that improve efficiency, scalability, and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
- Marketing
- Digital Marketing
- Business Administration
- Communications
- Information Systems / Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Data Analytics or Statistics
- Master’s Degree
- MBA (Master of Business Administration) or Master’s in Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, or Marketing Analytics
- Technical Certifications & Professional Training:
- Digital Platforms & Operations experience, Google Analytics & Performance Certificate, Paid Media & SEO Certificates: Google Ads Certification, Meta Blueprint Certification and LinkedIn Ads Certification and SEMrush / Moz SEO training
Physical Requirements:
- Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions.
- Stationary Position – Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.
- Move or Traverse – This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, office machinery, etc. May occasionally ascends/descends the stairs to get to other floors, cafeteria and parking area.
- Dexterity – constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine/printer.
- Move, Transport, Position, Put, Install, Remove - Occasionally moves supplies weighing up to 10 pounds for various presentation and event needs.
- Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information - The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
