Fidelity's Electronic Trading team is seeking a Director to lead the strategy and evolution of CrossStream, our off-exchange trading venue, while helping shape the future of our broader electronic trading business.

This role combines strategic planning, analytical problem-solving, and relationship-building. Responsibilities include leading the business strategy, analytics, and regulatory governance of CrossStream, identifying growth opportunities through data analysis, and partnering with teams across Fidelity to enhance our trading capabilities. As expertise and industry relationships deepen, the role will also focus on expanding partnerships with broker-dealers and trading technology providers, helping drive the continued growth of Fidelity's electronic trading business.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Strong analytical and technical skills, including the ability to independently query and analyze large datasets using SQL, q or similar tools
  • Experience in product management, electronic trading, equity market structure, trading technology, or alternative trading venues
  • Ability to independently investigate business questions using data and develop recommendations based on findings
  • Experience coordinating complex initiatives across business, technology, trading, compliance, and operations teams
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in environments with regulatory and operational requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior leaders and external partners
  • Interest in developing commercial strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and cultivating industry partnerships

The most successful candidates bring curiosity, initiative, sound judgment, and a desire to continuously learn. They enjoy solving complex problems, working with data, and helping shape the direction of a growing business.

The Team

Our Electronic Trading team develops innovative trading solutions that connect clients and business partners with high-quality execution opportunities. We operate at the intersection of trading, technology, product management, quantitative research, and client engagement, helping Fidelity adapt and innovate within an evolving marketplace.

CrossStream is an important part of our electronic trading ecosystem, providing unique opportunities to improve execution outcomes and expand client access to liquidity. This role will play a key part in defining the future direction of the platform, while supporting broader strategic initiatives across Fidelity's electronic trading businesses including Fidelity Service Bureau.
