About MonetizeMore

MonetizeMore is a global pioneer in ad technology, powering ad monetization for over 150,000 websites and apps globally. We combine proprietary technology with sophisticated optimization strategies to secure and maximize publisher revenue. We are a 100% remote, culture-first organization driven by four core values: Integrity, Enterprising, Kaizen (Continuous Improvement), and Collaboration. We empower our global team with absolute location autonomy and flexible global schedules. We care about the impact you deliver, not the hours you log on.

 About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, field-tested Director of Engineering to lead, scale, and mature our global engineering organization.

In this role, you will be the foundational leader responsible for engineering culture, technical execution, and organizational design. You will manage a talented team of Engineering Managers and Software Engineers, ensuring our platforms remain highly scalable, reliable, and secure.

As a forward-thinking leader, you will also continue to drive the modernization of our development lifecycle. This includes executing a strategic mandate to integrate AI into our development processes, establishing clear baseline metrics to measure and elevate our overall development delivery efficiency.

  • Organizational Design: Structure engineering pods for maximum autonomy and alignment, ensuring clear career ladders and effective succession planning.
  • Product Operating Model Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Management leadership to ensure engineering pods operate as empowered, cross-functional teams focused on customer outcomes rather than just output.
 2. Technical Strategy & Architecture
  • System Scalability: Oversee the architectural integrity, security, and performance of our high-volume, low-latency ad tech infrastructure.
  • Technical Debt Management: Balance the delivery of new features with the continuous modernization of our codebase, ensuring infrastructure costs are optimized.
  • Risk & Compliance: Maintain robust data privacy, compliance, and security standards across all engineering operations.
 3. Delivery Efficiency & Modernization (The AI Mandate)
  • Process Optimization: Establish and monitor core engineering metrics (such as DORA or SPACE frameworks) to identify and eliminate development bottlenecks.
  • AI Integration: Lead the strategic adoption of AI-augmented development tools (e.g., code assistants, automated testing, documentation agents) to eliminate developer toil.
  • Measured Outcomes: Quantify the impact of these modernization initiatives, demonstrating clear improvements in cycle times, deployment frequency, and overall delivery velocity.
 Key Success Outcomes
  • Platform Stability & Scale: Maintain high uptime and performance across all product lines while supporting a growing volume of global ad traffic.
  • Delivery Velocity: Increase deployment frequency and reduce cycle times through process optimization and automation.
  • AI Efficiency Implementation: Successfully deploy AI-assisted tooling across the SDLC with a clearly measured, positive impact on developer throughput and code quality.
  • High Team Retention & Engagement: Foster a world-class remote engineering culture with high retention and clear alignment with business goals.
 Who You Are
  • The Seasoned Leader: You have 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5+ years managing engineering managers in a fast-growing SaaS, Ad Tech, or high-data volume What environment.
  • The Remote Champion: You have a proven track record of managing and scaling highly aligned, culturally diverse, 100% remote engineering teams.
  • Pragmatic Technical Thinker: You possess a deep understanding of modern cloud architecture and distributed systems. You know how to make smart architectural trade-offs that support business growth.
  • Metrics-Driven Operator: You don't guess; you measure. You are deeply familiar with DORA metrics and engineering productivity frameworks.
  • Forward-Looking Innovator: You stay ahead of the curve. You have a practical, realistic understanding of how AI tools can be safely and effectively leveraged to improve engineering workflows.
 What We Offer
  • True Flexibility: Work from anywhere in the world with an flexible schedule that fits your lifestyle.
  • Professional Development: Continuous opportunities for career growth, learning allowances, and direct impact on a fast growing company.
