We are currently looking for a Director, Finance & Strategy to join our team.
Compensation:
Expected Salary: $200,000 - $270,000 USD
What You Can Expect from This Role
We are seeking a highly motivated finance professional to join our growing team at a publicly traded data center development company. This role is ideal for a top-performing investment banking or private equity analyst or associate (1-4 years of experience) looking to transition into a strategic, high-impact role with significant exposure to the CFO and other executives, capital markets, strategic transactions, business management, and long-term value creation in the fast-growing digital infrastructure sector.
The director will support corporate finance efforts, capital raising, strategic transactions, financial planning & analysis, investor relations, and other strategic initiatives. This position offers hands-on experience across the capital structure, business operations, and transaction processes in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Reponsibilities
- Capital Markets & Financing: Assist in debt and equity capital raises (e.g., ATM program, follow-on offerings, project finance, term loans, bonds); lead all associated modeling and analysis; prepare materials for investors, rating agencies, and banks; manage lender/investor data rooms.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Support the development and maintenance of our corporate model, budget updates, and long-range plans to enhance strategic decision-making.
- Strategic Investments & Transactions: Develop corporate investment and transaction underwriting process; support evaluation of investments and preparation of associated materials for executive team.
- Investor Relations: Track peer performance, valuation of metrics, transactions, and trends/strategies; collaborate with investor relations team to support preparation of earnings materials and responses to sell-side analyst inquiries.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with accounting, legal, operations, and development teams to ensure alignment on business decisions.
- Ad Hoc Strategic Projects.
What We Are Looking For
- 1-4 years of investment banking and/or private equity experience; prior coverage of infrastructure or other capital-intensive industries is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
- Advanced financial modeling skills, with exceptional attention to detail and ability to distill complex analyses into clear, concise insights.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and capital markets.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Intellectual curiosity, proactive mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
