We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Director of Information Technology to lead and scale our IT infrastructure, security posture, and technology operations. This role is central to our organization's growth. You will own our entire IT ecosystem, drive adoption of our core platforms, and ensure our people have the tools and access they need to do their best work. You will serve as the primary IT decision-maker, working cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Operations to align technology with business goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Own and execute a forward-thinking IT roadmap that supports company growth, security, and operational efficiency

  • Administer and optimize Google Workspace, Electric AI, JumpCloud, and Check Point as the foundation of our IT and security stack

  • Oversee all user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access controls through JumpCloud, ensuring zero-trust principles are followed

  • Manage endpoint protection, network security, and threat response using Check Point; partner with security vendors to maintain 24/7 coverage

  • Leverage Electric AI to streamline onboarding, offboarding, app access, device management, and IT support workflows

  • Establish and maintain IT policies, approval processes, and compliance standards across all tools and platforms

  • Own all software vendor relationships, renewals, and procurement approvals to control costs and reduce risk

  • Serve as the escalation point for IT issues, lead helpdesk operations, and ensure fast resolution times for all employees

  • Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, new tool rollouts, and technology initiatives from start to finish

Who You Are:

  • 5-10+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role

  • Hands-on experience with JumpCloud or similar cloud directory / IAM platforms (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace)

  • Working knowledge of Check Point or comparable network security and endpoint protection platforms

  • Experience with IT management platforms such as Electric AI, NinjaOne, or similar MSP/ITSM tools

  • Strong understanding of zero-trust architecture, MDM, SSO, and MFA best practices

  • Familiarity with managing AWS services/infrastructure.

  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, software procurement, and IT budgets

  • Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Experience building or enforcing IT governance policies and approval frameworks

Nice to have:

  • Relevant certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, or JumpCloud Admin Certified

  • Experience working with a managed SOC or cybersecurity partner (e.g. SpearTip, Arctic Wolf)

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001

  • Experience with SaaS management platforms (Zluri, Torii, or similar)

  • Background in a fast-growing SMB or startup environment
