Job Description:

As Director of IT Operations, you will own the execution, reliability, and delivery of IT services across all PCS locations (offices, warehouses, and remote teams).

This is not a purely strategic role. While you will lead teams and vendors, you are expected to remain close to the technology and be hands-on when required, especially during major incidents, complex deployments, or new site launches.

You will report to the SVP, Global Technology and operate with clear accountability for day-to-day IT operations, allowing the organization to scale while maintaining stability and security.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Owning global IT operations across multiple countries and time zones
  • Leading and developing IT teams (service desk, infrastructure, network, field support)
    • Ensuring reliable delivery of:
    • End-user computing (Windows, macOS, mobile)
    • Networks (LAN / WAN / WiFi)
    • Identity & access services
    • Collaboration platforms (Microsoft 365)
  • Acting as the primary escalation point for operational IT issues
  • Being hands-on during critical incidents, outages, and high-impact changes
  • Executing cybersecurity controls and standards (endpoint security, MFA, patching, IR)
  • Managing IT vendors, MSPs, ISPs, software licensing, and system integrators
  • Owning IT operational budgets, asset management, and lifecycle planning
  • Leading execution of IT projects
  • Supporting audits, customer security reviews, and compliance activities

Who You Are:

  • 10+ years in IT infrastructure and operations
  • 5+ years in senior IT leadership roles (Senior Manager / Director)
  • Experience supporting:
    • Multi-site or global environments
    • Warehouse, logistics, or operationally critical environments
    • 24/7 production systems
  • Strong operational IT background with the ability to go hands-on when needed
  • Solid experience with:
    • Microsoft 365 / Entra ID
    • Windows & macOS endpoint management (MDM / Intune)
    • Enterprise networking and connectivity
    • Firewalls, VPNs, and security fundamentals
  • Calm, structured decision-maker under pressure
  • Clear communicator with both technical and business stakeholders

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid passport and be authorized to travel to the United States and other global locations.
  • This is a 100% remote role with potential travel requirements to the U.S. and international offices.

We Are Seeking People Who:

  • Act like owners.
  • Are continually raising the bar.
  • Are sincerely open-minded and willing to examine their strongest convictions with humility.
  • Nurture and embrace differing perspectives to make better decisions.

What's in it for You:

  • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • A supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ancestry, age, or national origin will be considered. No qualified applicants will be discriminated against on the basis of disability or protected veteran status.
