About StartEngine
StartEngine is the FinTech powerhouse driving the future of fundraising and alternative investing. StartEngine was founded by Howard Marks, the co-founder of Activision (now valued at over $75B), with the goal of helping entrepreneurs achieve their dreams by removing funding barriers. Howard partnered with co-founder Ron Miller, a veteran entrepreneur and early advocate of equity crowdfunding, to build a platform that democratizes access to capital. In 2020, StartEngine welcomed Shark Tank judge and serial entrepreneur Kevin O’Leary (aka Mr. Wonderful) as Strategic Advisor and Investor. Since its inception, StartEngine has helped over 550 companies raise more than $1.1B from retail investors, with investments starting at as little as $100.
Why merely back a company when you can own a piece of it?
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Growth & Marketing Operations to own our marketing systems while helping shape and execute top-of-funnel growth strategy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in backend processes and systems optimization, but also brings a strategic lens to how operations drive pipeline and performance.
You’ll be responsible for streamlining campaign execution, enhancing our email and CRM infrastructure, improving lead flow and data quality, and leveraging insights to inform and refine demand generation efforts.
Unlike prior roles focused solely on execution or growth, this position blends both—owning the technical and process backbone of marketing while playing a key role in optimizing how we attract and convert leads.
The ideal candidate is deeply proficient in marketing and sales systems, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and excels at turning operational insights into scalable growth strategies.
What You’ll Do
- Design and execute multi-channel lead generation campaigns across paid media, email, organic content, outbound, and strategic experiments.
- Partner with sales, RevOps, and product marketing to define lead scoring, refine ICPs, and ensure a clean, high-converting lead handoff.
- Align with internal stakeholders to build data-driven strategies, assets, and automations that support each stage of the lead funnel.
- Own CRM strategy and execution to ensure clean data, proper segmentation, lead tracking, and lifecycle management.
- Represent the lead generation function in strategic GTM planning, contributing to revenue forecasts and pipeline targets.
- Set and exceed KPIs for lead volume, CAC, funnel velocity, and channel-level ROI.
Experience We're Looking For
- Experience with Hubspot or similar CRM (building workflows, managing lead pipelines, automating outreach/re-engagement, curating lead lists for outbound)
- E-mail demand generation experience: developing and launching email campaigns + managing inbound lead process (owning the landing page and associated workflows)
- Managing vendors who support lead gen activities
- Experience creating campaigns, webinars, case studies, and collateral.
- Experience working with CRM data and excel to analyze data and find trends.
- Experience hosting virtual events/leading webinars.
Perks & Benefits
- 100% covered Medical/Dental/Vision - pick your own plan
- Generous Equity package
- Unlimited PTO and sick days
- Paid WeWork Usage (optional)
- 100% Remote
- Team Off-sites and Celebration Dinners
- Paid Maternity/Paternity leave
- 401K program
- Flexible hours
- Be part of one of the fastest growing parts of the FinTech Industry
- A chance to work with a highly profitable and rapidly expanding startup (not VC funded)
