Roles and Responsibilities
- Define and own the integrated Marketing Communications strategy aligned to business priorities, portfolio strategies, and regional go‑to‑market plans.
- Translate complex product, clinical, and value propositions into clear, compelling, and compliant messaging for multiple audiences.
- Act as a senior marketing advisor to business and functional leaders, influencing priorities and investment decisions.
- Support the development and execution of multi‑channel marketing campaigns across digital, field, events, advertising, and owned channels along with Brand Management (Product Marketing) and Digital Marketing.
- Oversee creation of high‑impact, multi-media content including but not limited to campaign assets, sales enablement tools, social media, thought leadership, customer stories, and event experiences both in-person and virtual.
- Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and third‑party partners to deliver scalable, high‑quality, multi-media MarCom assets and campaigns.
- Ensure strong linkage between brand, demand generation, and field activation to drive measurable outcomes.
- Serve as Creative Director for the Contrast Media Portfolio in the USCAN region, working in alignment with Brand Managers (Product Marketing), Global Marketing, and Corporate Marketing, to define the creative vision, look, and feel across campaigns, content, and experiences.
- Ensure creative excellence and consistency across all marketing assets, channels, and customer touchpoints while aligning to GE HealthCare brand standards.
- Own Marketing Communications governance, including Advertising & Promotional Review (APR) processes and collaboration with Regulatory, Legal, and Quality partners to ensure all marketing and communications meet regulatory, compliance, and brand standards across regions and channels.
- Champion quality, rigor, and operational excellence within MarCom execution.
- Lead, coach, and develop MarCom team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Own MarCom budgets, vendor management, and prioritization to maximize ROI.
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track effectiveness and continuously optimize impact.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing communications, integrated marketing, or brand marketing, preferably in healthcare, life sciences, medical devices, pharma, or regulated industries.
- Proven experience leading integrated MarCom strategies and campaigns at a portfolio or enterprise level.
- Deep understanding of regulated promotional environments and experience working with APR / regulatory review processes.
- Strong leadership experience managing teams, agencies, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Brings a collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset with a strong can‑do attitude. Prioritizes team and business outcomes and performs effectively in a fast‑moving, constantly changing environment.
- Demonstrated experience with strategic storytelling and messaging development, integrated campaign planning and execution, creative direction and brand stewardship, and executive‑level communication and influence.
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., Adobe Workfront, Showpad, Veeva Vault) and employee advocacy platforms (e.g., EveryoneSocial).
