About you
We’re looking for an ambitious marketing leader to help us grow revenue by 10x over the coming years, as we expand within existing markets and enter new ones. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our GTM strategy and driving significant new sales. You will set the bar high in leading by example, while assembling and inspiring a high-performing team that drives measurable revenue growth.
You are passionate about trying new things, being at the cutting edge, and telling a compelling story about compelling products to a diverse global audience. You are intrinsically product-focused and you know what ‘excellence’ looks like; that’s why you also love building from the ground up, taking full ownership from concept to execution. You are relentlessly curious, wanting to know ALL the details, and determined to achieve transformational sales results.
We hire humans, not job descriptions. You should apply even if this role and salary range don't align with your experience. We’re happy to create unique roles and compensation for the right talent.
What You'll Do:
- Product-driven Strategy: Work with the CEO, VP of Product, VP of Revenue, and senior leadership to craft and iterate on GTM plans, ensuring all functional teams are aligned and equipped to accelerate deals and drive record-breaking sales pipeline growth.
- Planning and Investment: Set priorities and metrics, ensuring marketing investments and experiments unlock more growth and maximize ROI.
- Leadership and Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of resourcefulness, ownership, and transformational results.
- Sales Insight and Market Positioning: Leverage your sales experience and deep understanding of our customers’ purchase journeys to make significant improvements in our product messaging and positioning, customer engagement, and overall sales growth.
Requirements:
- Proven Leadership: Achieved remarkable results at a high-growth B2B tech company. The ideal candidate has contributed to growing organizations past 500+ employees and knows what outstanding execution looks like at scale.
- Bootstrapped Background: Experience building things from the ground up on their own, such as being the first marketing employee, and getting remarkable results without relying on heavy capital backing or venture funding. Candidates without this experience need not apply.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to tell a compelling story about compelling products to a diverse global audience, inspire cross-functional teams to drive sales outcomes, and represent the company in front of customers, partners, and the media.
- Resourceful Bias for Action: You will find ways to have an impact on sales in your FIRST WEEK on the job. You find clever ways to reach customers at scale while keeping costs in check. You leverage technology to do much more with less.
