Summary
As Director of Marketing, you will define marketing strategy while also rolling up your sleeves to execute campaigns, produce content, and manage programs. You’ll be responsible for driving growth, brand awareness, and customer engagement across demand generation, product marketing, content & design, communications, events, partner marketing, and analytics. This is a player/coach role, ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a small, fast-paced marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute the full marketing strategy aligned with company goals.
- Own marketing KPIs, dashboards, and ROI metrics, reporting to executive leadership.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure marketing programs drive revenue, retention, and expansion.
Demand Generation & Growth
- Design and execute multi-channel campaigns (email, paid, SEO, social, webinars, ABM).
- Manage lead lifecycle, nurturing programs, and attribution to optimize pipeline.
- Track performance metrics, iterate, and optimize campaigns for maximum impact.
Product & Customer Marketing
- Create product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for launches and feature releases.
- Build sales enablement materials, playbooks, and competitive insights.
- Develop customer advocacy programs, case studies, and testimonials.
Brand, Content & Design
- Maintain brand identity across all channels and assets.
- Produce high-quality content (blogs, whitepapers, videos, social posts, email campaigns, landing pages).
- Oversee design assets, working directly or with freelancers/contractors to ensure consistency and quality.
Events & Field Marketing
- Plan and execute webinars, virtual events, and small in-person events.
- Collaborate with Sales to maximize event engagement and lead generation.
Marketing Operations & Analytics
- Maintain marketing tech stack (CRM, automation, analytics, CMS).
- Analyze campaign performance, generate insights, and optimize programs.
- Ensure data integrity and actionable reporting for the executive team.
Preferred Qualifications
· Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
· Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
· Comfortable balancing hands-on execution with strategic leadership.
· Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, marketing automation, and analytics tools.
· Ability to operate independently with minimal direction while collaborating effectively across teams.
Education and Experience
· 7–10+ years in B2B SaaS marketing with experience in both hands-on execution and strategic leadership.
· Proven success in full-funnel marketing, demand generation, and brand building.
· Experience managing small teams, freelancers, or contractors.
· Experience in digital production in the fashion industry is a plus.
