About Us
Nourish is on a mission to improve people’s health by making it easy to eat well. Nutrition-related chronic disease is the largest and most overlooked crisis in the world. Food can be medicine: working with a Registered Dietitian is one of the most effective interventions available, but <1% of eligible Americans use their covered benefits.

Nourish is building an AI-native, patient-friendly healthcare system centered on nutrition that improves outcomes, lowers costs, and helps people live healthier, longer lives. We launched three years ago, are live in all 50 states, and already have thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on the platform.

We are growing quickly, have partnered with national health insurance companies and provider groups, and have raised $115M from top-tier VCs including JP Morgan Growth Equity, Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, Y Combinator, Maverick Ventures, Box Group, Atomico, G Squared, and Pinegrove Venture Partners. Our angel investors include world-class healthcare founders from Oscar, Rightway Health, Headway, Spring Health, and Alto Pharmacy, as well as soccer star Alex Morgan and the founders from Olipop and Notion.

About the Role

Nourish is evolving from the country's leading telenutrition platform into an integrated metabolic health clinic that combines nutrition, clinical care, behavioral support, and technology into a coordinated patient experience. This role will help define how that evolution happens.

As Director of New Bets, you'll work closely with the CEO, Sr. Director of Corporate Strategy, and cross-functional teams to incubate, launch, and scale new products at Nourish. This is a high-ownership, GM-style role — you'll have ownership of new products from from early strategy through pilot launch and into scale.

This isn't a strategy-and-handoff position. You'll operate at the intersection of corporate strategy, clinical innovation, product development, and operations — bringing structure to ambiguity, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring new initiatives succeed operationally, clinically, and economically. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in 0→1 environments, enjoys high ownership, and is excited to build infrastructure that improves patient outcomes while driving long-term business growth.

Full-time, NYC-based. In-person 3–4 days per week at our Flatiron office, with some remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Care Expansion Strategy & Execution: Define and execute the roadmap for expanding Nourish’s care model, translating long-term strategy into scalable offerings that enhance outcomes, retention, and unit economics
  • New Bets Incubation & Project Leadership: Act as the GM and cross-functional quarterback across Clinical, Operations, and Product to launch, iterate, and scale new products
  • Operating Model Development for New Products: Design the operating model, playbooks, and infrastructure required to successfully launch, validate, and scale multiple new products
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to evaluate initiatives, generate insights, and inform executive decision-making
  • Cross-Functional Alignment & Process Development: Drive alignment across teams and build scalable processes that allow new initiatives to transition smoothly into the core business model
  • Financial Modeling: Build and refine financial models to guide prioritization, investment decisions, and long-term viability of new bets
We’d love to hear from you if:
  • You have 6–10+ years of experience combining strategy work (e.g., consulting, finance) with direct startup execution, and have led ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives with real ownership
  • You’re a first-principles thinker who challenges assumptions, identifies better ways of operating, and translates ideas into tangible operational change
  • You’re highly analytical and data-driven, comfortable building financial models, working with metrics, and translating insights into clear decisions and prioritization
  • You combine strategic thinking with operational rigor, able to define direction while managing complex initiatives with many moving pieces and strong attention to detail
  • You’re an exceptional cross-functional partner and communicator, able to build trust across executives, clinicians, operators, product, and technical teams while driving alignment and progress
  • You thrive in high-ownership, ambiguous environments, bringing strong judgment, a bias toward action, and comfort navigating complexity as you build and scale new initiatives
