What You’ll Do
As the Director of Operations, you’ll oversee all aspects of warehouse and delivery operations — from receiving and inventory management to order fulfillment, distribution, and delivery. You’ll lead and develop a team of managers, supervisors, leads, clerks, and warehouse associates to achieve operational excellence and deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day and night warehouse teams to achieve safety, accuracy, and productivity goals.
- Lead the delivery team on safety, efficiencies, and overall performance goals
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture built on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, replenishment, and outbound shipping.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulations.
- Monitor key performance indicators and use data to drive decisions and process improvements.
- Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse — ensuring equipment, layout, and safety standards support efficient operations.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members, creating clear expectations and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Partner with other departments (Sales, Delivery, and HR) to align operational goals and support company initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of warehouse and distribution management experience leading multi-shift teams.
- Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — comfortable using data to drive performance.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite
- NetSuite experience (preferred)
- Understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations.
- Flexibility to support both day and night operations as needed.
