What you'll work on:
- Owning and growing relationships across two core client segments: (1) traditional financial institutions including exchanges, market infrastructure providers, and asset managers, and (2) market makers and OTC trading firms.
- Serving as the commercial lead for a portfolio of institutional clients, driving revenue growth, trading activity, and long-term partner value.
- Driving adoption and utilization of the Circle platform, including digital assets (USDC, EURC, USYC), Arc blockchain, and Circle applications across client trading and financial workflows.
- Originating, structure, and execute partnership opportunities, owning the full lifecycle from deal negotiation through activation and expansion.
- Partnering cross-functionally with product, legal, compliance, and operations teams to deliver seamless client onboarding and scalable partner solutions.
- Acting as a market intelligence hub by translating client needs, trading behavior, and competitive dynamics into actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
- Developing and executing strategic account plans to deepen partner engagement, increase product penetration, and unlock new revenue streams.
What you'll bring to Circle:
Core Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in institutional sales, partnerships, or capital markets roles with a focus on trading clients.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, trading volume, or product adoption across institutional client portfolios.
- Deep understanding of market structure and trading products, including spot, derivatives, and OTC markets.
- Demonstrated ability to originate, negotiate, and scale complex partnerships with measurable business impact.
- Experience managing high-value institutional relationships with a strong focus on client outcomes and retention.
- Ability to operate cross-functionally to deliver client solutions across product, legal, compliance, and operations teams.
- Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience at a leading exchange, market maker, OTC desk, or global investment bank.
- Strong knowledge of digital assets, stablecoins, and DeFi, with an understanding of how they integrate into traditional finance.
- Highly self-directed with a commercial mindset and ability to operate in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.
