The role

We're looking for a Director of Platform & Infrastructure to lead the platform and infrastructure function supporting our SaaS and Marketplace engineering organizations. This is a hands-on infrastructure leadership role, leading a distributed team of roughly 10 people spanning multiple regions and time zones, including a dedicated SRE-focused group.

Where you’ll work

This is a fully remote position based in the United States. You should be comfortable working asynchronously and partnering with teammates in different time zones.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead and grow a distributed platform and infrastructure organization, staying hands-on with the team when issues arise.

  • Drive infrastructure modernization and cloud migration initiatives, including moving services to managed cloud offerings.

  • Own reliability, deployment, and disaster recovery practices across the organization's core environments.

  • Set engineering standards for infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and operational resilience.

  • Partner with engineering and senior leadership to translate platform strategy into practical roadmaps.

What you’ll need

  • Significant experience leading technical or engineering teams.

  • Strong hands-on experience with a major cloud provider and modern infrastructure practices.

  • A track record leading and developing teams, including through incidents and high-pressure situations.

  • Experience working in a product-driven technology company.

  • Comfort leading distributed, cross-regional teams.

  • A direct, people-first leadership style focused on team growth and hands-on support.
