Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It Uniquely Yours.
Role Purpose
The Head of Product & Account Management for AI is responsible for shaping, prioritizing, and governing the enterprise AI portfolio by ensuring initiatives start with the right problems, are designed around real user needs, and deliver measurable business value.
This role applies design thinking and product management discipline to translate business challenges into well-defined AI product opportunities. Acting as the single front door for AI demand, the role partners closely with business leaders, the AI Factory, Architecture, Data, Security, and Finance to ensure AI investments are intentional, scalable, and outcome driven.
This role owns the problem definition, value articulation, and product direction - not delivery execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. AI Product Intake & Demand Management
  • Own the enterprise intake process for AI initiatives
  • Partner with business leaders to reframe solution requests into clear problem statements
  • Ensure each request includes defined users, business objectives, success metrics, and constraints
  • Filter, shape, and sequence demand to focus resources on the highest-value opportunities

2. Design Thinking & Problem Discovery
  • Apply design thinking and human-centered design methods (empathy interviews, journey mapping, problem reframing, ideation workshops) to uncover high-impact AI opportunities
  • Facilitate structured discovery sessions to validate desirability, feasibility, and viability before initiatives move forward
  • Ensure user needs, behaviors, and adoption barriers are explicitly addressed in AI solution design
  • Translate insights into clear hypotheses that guide experimentation and pilots

3. Business Case & Value Assessment
  • Build and validate value hypotheses for AI initiatives, including productivity gains, cost reduction, revenue enablement, and risk mitigation
  • Define measurable KPIs tied to both user adoption and business outcomes
  • Support investment decisions through value-versus-feasibility analysis and prioritization frameworks
  • Partner with Finance and business teams to track value realization over time

4. AI Product Strategy & Portfolio Road mapping
  • Translate approved opportunities into a cohesive AI product roadmap
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise AI strategy, responsible AI principles, and a multi-cloud data environment
  • Balance near-term pilots with longer-term platform and capability investments
  • Maintain transparency into pipeline, priorities, dependencies, and trade-offs

5. Account Management & Stakeholder Partnership
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for business stakeholders consuming AI capabilities
  • Manage expectations across discovery, pilot, and activation phases
  • Drive alignment on outcomes, adoption readiness, and change management needs
  • Act as a trusted advisor, challenging assumptions while maintaining strong partnerships
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with external venture partners to identify emerging technologies, potential investment opportunities, and innovative solutions that can accelerate AI product impact

6. Design Readiness & Activation Alignment
Partner with ActivateAI Factory to ensure AI solutions are designed to scale, not just to demonstrate technical feasibility
  • Validate data readiness, architecture alignment, and security, privacy, and compliance considerations early in the design process
  • Ensure pilots are designed to test technical feasibility, user desirability, operational fit, and adoption readiness
  • Define training, enablement, and AI literacy needs as part of solution design, including:
    • Target user personas and skill levels
    • Required changes to ways of working
    • Guidance on responsible and effective AI usage
  • Coordinate with change, learning, and communications partners (where applicable) to ensure appropriate enablement is in place prior to activation
  • Support transition from pilot to activation with clear success criteria, including adoption, proficiency, and value realization metrics

7. Portfolio Governance & Executive Reporting
  • Provide leadership with clear visibility into the AI portfolio, including value, progress, risks, and decisions required
  • Support stop/go/scale decisions with data-driven insights
  • Ensure AI initiatives adhere to enterprise governance and responsible AI standards

8. External Innovation & VC Partnerships
  • Partner with venture capital firms, startups, and external innovation ecosystems to source emerging AI technologies and scalable solutions
  • Evaluate potential collaborations or investments to inform enterprise AI strategy and product roadmaps
  • Leverage external insights to accelerate adoption, drive innovation, and increase measurable business impact
  • Coordinate with internal product, architecture, and finance teams to ensure opportunities are aligned with enterprise AI priorities and governance

Key Interfaces
  • Digital & AI Strategy
  • AI Factory
  • Enterprise Architecture
  • Data & Analytics
  • Security, Legal, Privacy
  • Finance
  • Business Unit Leadership
  • Venture Capital / External Innovation Partners

Success Measures
  • High-quality, value-driven AI intake pipeline
  • Increased pilot-to-scale conversion
  • Measurable business impact from AI investments
  • Strong user adoption and stakeholder trust
  • Reduced low-value or poorly defined AI initiatives

What you need to know about this position:
  • 10+ years in product management, digital strategy, innovation, or transformation roles
  • Experience operating at enterprise scale across multiple business units
  • Proven ability to build and defend business cases for digital, data, or AI initiatives
  • Experience working with AI, advanced analytics, or emerging technologies

Skills & Capabilities
  • Strong product and systems thinking
  • Deep experience applying design thinking or human-centered design
  • Executive-level stakeholder communication and facilitation
  • Financial and value-oriented mindset
  • Ability to influence without direct authority
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and early-stage problem spaces

Personal Attributes

  • Pragmatic and decisive

  • Bias for learning, iteration, and value delivery
