As Director, GTM & Commercialization for the Payment Optimization Platform (POP), you will be at the forefront of transforming digital commerce by delivering solutions that enhance transaction authorization, reduce payment friction, and unlock growth for our partners.
You will play a critical role in bringing new solutions to market, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring our Payment Optimization Platform delivers material value to customers. This role is ideal for a strategic, customer-focused leader passionate about digital payments, technology, and driving business impact.
Key Responsibilities• Lead the go-to-market strategy for key global digital partners, including merchants and service providers. Focus on developing and executing approaches that drive adoption, engagement, and long-term value within this customer segment.• Own the customer adoption pipeline, identify and size top business development opportunities, and unlock growth with large digital merchants and global partners.• Serve as a strategic business partner to geographic and functional teams, aligning POP commercialization with broader optimization strategies and partnership goals.• Act as the subject matter expert for payment optimization, leading customer meetings, supporting deal negotiations, and representing POP in key forums.• Actively participate in pilots with merchants and partners to understand adoption pain points, identify new features, and recommend enhancements. Develop and implement strategies to scale offerings and maximize impact across the digital merchant and service provider segment.• Leverage analytics, market insights, and customer feedback to drive recommendations for penetration, adoption, and the development of new and existing solutions.• Work across a matrixed organization, collaborating with Product, Legal, Finance, Market Development, Account Management, Customer Experience, Marketing, and other teams to ensure successful commercialization.
Qualifications• Deep understanding of payment processing, authorization, and acquiring services, with experience working in the acceptance space alongside merchants, acquirers, payment service providers, and related stakeholders.• Proven expertise in commercialization of scalable solutions, driving customer adoption, and identifying and addressing customer pain points to deliver impactful results.• Demonstrated success in developing and executing GTM strategies for innovative products.• Strong experience in customer-facing roles, including leading negotiations with customers on new product launches and commercialization.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with business stakeholders, engineering, and analytics teams.• Ability to manage multiple projects, guide complex conversations, and deliver productive outcomes.• Technical fluency in authorization performance, payment processing, and acquiring.• Resilience and adaptability in a high-pressure, growth-driven environment.• Entrepreneurial spirit, global mindset, and passion for digital innovation.• Ability to craft clear, detailed deliverables and communicate effectively across audiences.
