About the Role

We are looking for a product management professional to help drive monetization priorities across Yahoo. The Product Management Director in this role is responsible for defining the strategy of monetization data and measurement, responsible for helping drive monetization of all Yahoo-owned and operated properties and partners.

You will work closely with our engineering, operations, privacy, identity, and leadership teams to propose, develop, and launch new and differentiating experiences for our Yahoo users. We’re looking for candidates with a proven ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization, a strong aptitude for idea generation, and the ability to work through data-driven iterations.

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the Monetization Platform engineering team and other platform product teams, this role will help define and improve our data collections and optimization.

  • Create tools to measure and optimize demand partners and advertiser campaigns

  • Define the roadmap and priorities for new monetization integrations and data-driven consumer products

  • Align and energize key stakeholders and team members responsible for the product life cycle

  • Lead the full product lifecycle—from ideation, design, and requirements definition, through to delivery—collaborating with teams across the organization. Communicate a clear set of consumer needs at all times to drive key trade-offs.

  • Evangelize objectives and requirements across Yahoo to position your product for success and garner any support required to successfully execute on your product

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of openRTB, header bidding, prebid, Google Ad Manager, SSPs, DSPs, DMPs, cleanrooms, and other modern digital advertising technology and methodologies.

  • General understanding of deterministic, audience segmentation, contextual signals, and standard taxonomies as well as their use by advertisers to achieve full-funnel outcomes (awareness, intent lift, performance).

  • Experience managing a consumer product or program from the concept stage to launch

  • A strong track record of developing and launching products

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with both business and technical teams

  • 7+ years of experience in consumer Web software product management

  • Technical, Design degree or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to prioritize competing opportunities, balance market needs with business priorities, drive detailed trade-offs over the product lifecycle, manage conflict, and articulate the rationale behind decisions

  • Success leading complex projects across a global, cross-functional organization and demonstrated ability as a thought leader for key issues in that environment

The compensation for this position ranges from $150,380.00 - $327,025.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
