Within Anaplan’s Finance Center of Excellence (CoE) as Director of Product Management – Finance Applications, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the applications for planning, forecasting, and reporting use cases.  You will manage a team of product managers, and alongside the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the product lifecycle of all the Finance CoEs applications, from concept to delivery.  You will guide the team in shaping a long-term vision and strategy for the entire suite of Finance Applications, including how to include AI and Agentic agents within the Finance CoE applications. You will collaborate with stakeholders throughout the Anaplan business, including within the integrated business application team and cross-functionally with GTM, Professional Services, Solution Consulting, and more. You will need to drive an outbound customer strategy by connecting with both new and existing customers and SMEs to gain feedback and drive the team's strategy.  

This is a unique opportunity for an innovative, results-driven product manager to drive Anaplan’s Finance solutions. The role requires proven application product management expertise, outstanding communication and presentation skills, and a strong background in financial planning.

Your Impact
  • Coordinate defining and managing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Finance CoE, targeting the office of the CFO.  
  • Define and champion the vision for integrating next-generation AI, including agentic workflows, into the Finance Applications suite.
  • Develop and maintain a long-term AI roadmap that transforms how the office of the CFO operates, focusing on automation, insight generation, and decision intelligence.
  • Drive the delivery of Finance Applications incorporating the suite of Anaplan platform components (including model and UX building, Application Framework, AI, user management, data integration, reporting, forecasting, etc.).
  • Allocate resources and prioritize initiatives across the team to align with business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers, recruit, hire, and onboard new talent to build a high-performing team.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of Finance Applications.
  • Drive Alignment and consensus across Anaplan’s Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and GTM Enablement Teams to ensure seamless integration of Finance Applications into Anaplan’s GTM motion.
  • Work with Anaplan Partners to help define and certify partner-built applications.
  • Mentor other product managers on the team, lead by example, and help to establish best practices for the product management organization.

  • Adoption and successful completion of enablement by Anaplan Teams.
  • Value of sales of Finance Applications.
  • Evaluation and feedback from Product Management, Sales, Solution Consulting, Professional Services, GTM Enablement, Customers, and SMEs.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in a related field or similar positions.  
  • Proven experience in product management and application development, with a focus on finance-related software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning processes, methodologies, and systems with domain expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
  • Experience building multi-dimensional planning models, ideally on the Anaplan platform.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of products and making strategic trade-offs.
  • Strong understanding of modern AI concepts, including generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and agentic frameworks.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing and leading a team of product managers.
  • Proven ability to hire, develop, and retain top product talent
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
