Director, Product Marketing

You hit the nail on the head — for a living. It's no accident. Over the years you've learned to see the product through the customer's eyes: what pulls them in, what makes them hesitate, and what they actually tell their boss to justify the purchase. So when an account executive wraps up the demo with the magic phrase you taught them to use, you're not surprised. That's the work. Not the deck. The moment the market starts using your words.

And you treat the sales team as your first customer. You've sat in on the calls, heard where the pitch falls apart, and rewritten the story until reps reach for it on their own. If you've only ever handed positioning over the wall and hoped it stuck, this isn't your role.

Fixify is a Series A company building an AI-native IT automation platform that pairs real tech with a human touch. We have customers, revenue, and a clear point of view on how people and AI should work together to run IT.

As Director, Product Marketing, you’ll report to the CMO and own how Fixify shows up in the market — the positioning, the messaging, the sales tools, and the launches. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with Product Management, Sales, and Service Delivery to turn what we've built into a story customers understand instantly and competitors can't easily copy.

This is a hands-on role. You'll write the messaging, build the deck, run the launch, and dig into the win/loss calls yourself. At our stage, this is about deciding what matters most and focusing on the highest-impact work first – not managing a big team.

If you want to own the story of a product customers actually love, and you measure your work by whether sales picks it up and runs with it, we should talk.

What we can do for you
  • Give you end-to-end ownership of product marketing
  • Put you at the center of Product, Sales, and Service Delivery, where your words shape how customers experience Fixify
  • Pair you directly with a highly aligned go-to-market team that knows good positioning is the difference between making the number and blowing past it
  • Give you room to experiment and apply AI tools to produce sharper work

What you can do for us
  • Own Fixify's positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans, and keep them consistent everywhere customers and prospects encounter us
  • Define who we sell to — the ideal customer profile and buyer personas — grounded in real buyer and win/loss conversations
  • Translate technical capability into language a buyer gets in one read
  • Build the sales enablement that moves deals through every stage, including presentations, datasheets, white papers, case studies, and web copy
  • Run product launches end to end, prioritized by business impact and differentiation
  • Learn the competition cold so sales can stand tall against them and Product knows which gaps customers actually care about
  • Equip and train the sales team so they adopt the story and tell it well, including onboarding new hires
What you should bring with you
  • 8+ years in B2B technology marketing, with at least 4 in an outbound product marketing role
  • Examples of positioning and messaging you owned from scratch — and evidence that sales actually used them
  • A track record launching B2B technology products and services
  • Empathy for sales and a bias for messaging that cuts the jargon and gets to what the customer cares about
  • The ability to run multiple launches and projects to tight deadlines with minimal oversight
  • Strong writing, presentation, and public speaking skills
  • A track record of using AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini to raise the quality and speed of your work
  • Familiarity with IT operations, ITSM, or security operations is ideal — but if you've been a quick study in a new technical domain before, that works too
  • Pragmatic Marketing training or certification a plus
