📍Location

We’re fully remote and welcome candidates from anywhere in the US! We have all-company offsites a few times a year where we fly the whole team out to meet in person, build stronger relationships, kick off important projects, and have fun!

💼 Job Summary

We are seeking a Director of Product Marketing to join our team. As the Director of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for crafting our product narrative, driving go-to-market strategy, and deeply understanding our customers to shape positioning and messaging. You will work closely with the Product and Sales teams to ensure that our market presence and customer engagements are tightly aligned to drive revenue and product adoption.

💻 Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the Cortex product marketing strategy, from positioning and messaging to competitive analysis and market research
  • Partner closely with Product Management to shape roadmap communications and ensure new features are successfully launched and adopted
  • Work with Sales to create enablement materials, case studies, and collateral that effectively communicate Cortex’s value proposition
  • Lead customer segmentation and persona development to refine targeting strategies across channels
  • Drive Cortex’s participation in analyst relations, customer advisory boards, and thought leadership initiatives
  • Measure and optimize the effectiveness of product marketing activities and refine strategies based on data and insights
  • Build and grow a high-performing product marketing function as we scale

✔️Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably at a B2B SaaS company; developer tools or infrastructure experience is a plus
  • Experience owning messaging frameworks, product launches, and go-to-market plans
  • Experience working closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to drive adoption and revenue
  • Solid fundamental skills in positioning, storytelling, competitive research, and market segmentation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a knack for simplifying complex concepts
  • Ability to mentor and build a team as we continue to grow

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The base pay for this role starts between $205,000 and $245,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for equity and benefits.
