Your Role and Impact

We are seeking a smart, proactive, and scrappy Director, Product Marketing to own and drive Venn’s GTM product positioning and messaging, while being a visible cross-functional presence across the organization. Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in understanding market dynamics and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure alignment and execution of marketing strategies that drive growth.


This is a hybrid role, with 1-2 days per week in our New York office, depending on where you live.

What You Will Do:

  • Own and evolve product positioning and messaging to clearly articulate our value, differentiate in the market, and deeply resonate with target customers
  • Lead strategy and execution for product launches, feature rollouts and new releases
  • Translate market intelligence, including competitive insights, customer feedback, and segmentation analysis into actionable strategies that influence product strategy and marketing campaigns
  • Develop and oversee compelling content across the customer journey, think pitch decks, data sheets, solution briefs, case studies, white papers, web copy, and thought leadership pieces
  • Collaborate closely with Product to ensure that roadmap decisions, feature descriptions and messaging are grounded in market needs
  • Support demand generation efforts with messaging and assets that drive interest and engagement across campaigns, webinars, and digital channels
  • Enable the sales team with high-impact tools, including user guides, playbooks, and competitive intel that help close deals faster
  • Track and optimize marketing performance, using key metrics like feature adoption, win/loss rates, and campaign engagement to continuously refine your approach
  • Serve as a visible, strategic voice, both internally and externally that helps shape how the market perceives Venn 


What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in high growth, early stage SaaS product marketing role, preferably in security, compliance and risk solutions 
  • Proven experience in conducting market research and analysis, crafting product positioning, and messaging strategies
  • Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and craft compelling narratives
  • Strong collaboration and cross-functional leadership skills, with experience working with product management, sales, and engineering teams.
  • Data-driven success mindset
  • Self-starter with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving results in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with product immersion/demo solutions such as Storylane or Tourial preferred and Sales enablement tools such as Highspot preferred
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Asana, Clickup preferred

Estimated base compensation: $180,000 - $210,000 USD/year
Estimated bonus: $10,000 - $20,000 USD/year
