TITLE: Director of Product Workflow & Operations
LOCATION: New York City or Jacksonville, FL(hybrid) or Fully Remote in the United States
SALARY: $185,000-$225,000 base salary (based on NYC, will be adjusted for geo)
The Role:
Architect, execute, and optimize end-to-end operational workflows for a high-volume, institutional data extraction business. Own the process and systems that enable efficient, scalable, and high-quality delivery of private markets data products. Be both a practitioner and manager: you have run these workflows, built them from scratch, and have led institutional data operations teams yourself.
What You'll Do:
  • Map, design, and optimize every step of the institutional investment data lifecycle: client onboarding, document intake, data extraction, validation, enrichment, QC, and reporting.
  • Own delivery management-run sprint/iteration planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Implement process automation and workflow optimization, especially where AI/ML and human-in-the-loop intersect.
  • Manage and coach ops/delivery teams-develop talent that understands both business outcomes and the details of institutional workflows.
  • Drive continuous process improvement; create and enforce SLAs and metrics for turnaround time, cost, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Work hands-on with platform/engineering and data teams to embed workflow best practices and operational logic in all products.
  • Ensure the team learns and scales-run retros, feedback sessions, and contribute to a knowledge-sharing culture.

What We're Looking For:
  • 7+ years building and managing data operations and workflow teams in the institutional finance, private markets, or asset management space.
  • Has been a hands-on practitioner: directly ran data extraction, enrichment, and delivery operations (not just at the leadership level).
  • Experience architecting, optimizing, and scaling high-volume data workflows-ideally has built these in a SaaS or managed service environment.
  • Deep operational management experience: has set, managed, and improved KPIs for quality, cost, and cycle time.
  • Direct experience managing and developing people, building high-performing operational teams.
  • Highly collaborative, expert problem solver, and able to work at both process and strategic levels.

What You'll Get:
  • Medical, dental, vision benefits
  • Flexible PTO
  • 401(k)
  • Flexible work from home policy
  • Home office stipend
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Gym/Wifi reimbursement
  • Education assistance
  • Parental Leave

Our Values:
  • Client First -> Listen, and deliver client-centric solutions
  • Be An Owner -> Take initiative, improve situations, drive positive outcomes
  • Excellence -> Always set the highest standard for yourself and others
  • Win Together -> 1 + 1 = 3
