JOB DESCRIPTION

The Director, Program Management is responsible for driving execution, governance, and operational excellence across FOX's Product Research & Analytics (PR&A) portfolio. Serving as the connective tissue across Product Analytics, Analytics Architecture, Qualitative Intelligence Architecture, Data Platform, Engineering, Product Management, and business stakeholders, this leader ensures strategic initiatives are aligned, dependencies are proactively managed, and organizational priorities are delivered efficiently.

This role leads portfolio planning, intake governance, cross-functional execution, roadmap coordination, operational reporting, organizational change management, and continuous improvement initiatives supporting FOX's Product Learning System, analytics architecture, self-service capabilities, AI enablement initiatives, and enterprise data products.

Working closely with Product, Engineering, Data Platform, Research, Analytics, and executive leadership, the Director helps scale PR&A as a cohesive product organization with a unified portfolio strategy, operating model, and execution framework. This leader partners with senior leadership to drive annual planning, portfolio governance, performance measurement, and investment decisions that maximize organizational impact.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead planning, prioritization, dependency management, and execution across the Product Research & Analytics (PR&A) portfolio.
  • Drive alignment between executive priorities, product roadmaps, organizational capacity, and cross-functional delivery plans.
  • Partner with PR&A leadership to lead annual planning, portfolio governance, operating cadences, investment planning, and performance measurement.
  • Establish and maintain portfolio governance processes, including intake, prioritization, capacity planning, resource allocation, and delivery forecasting.
  • Develop executive reporting that provides visibility into portfolio health, roadmap progress, risks, dependencies, business outcomes, and investment tradeoffs.
  • Lead executive governance forums and operational reviews, providing actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Platform, Research, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Marketing, and external vendors to coordinate delivery across complex initiatives.
  • Oversee strategic programs supporting FOX's Product Learning System, analytics modernization, AI enablement, self-service analytics, enterprise data products, and platform transformation initiatives.
  • Standardize portfolio management practices, including Jira workflows, documentation, reporting, and execution frameworks to improve consistency and operational efficiency.
  • Develop scalable operating models that improve organizational alignment, execution predictability, and decision-making.
  • Drive adoption of new platforms, governance frameworks, and ways of working while supporting organizational readiness through transformational initiatives.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that increase transparency, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and enhance delivery excellence.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 10+ years of experience in Program Management, Product Operations, Product Management, Analytics Operations, Technical Program Management, or related disciplines.
  • Extensive experience leading large-scale cross-functional programs spanning Product, Engineering, Data, Analytics, and business organizations.
  • Experience delivering complex data platforms, analytics modernization initiatives, digital transformation programs, enterprise operating models, or organizational scaling efforts.
  • Strong understanding of digital product development, analytics ecosystems, experimentation programs, and enterprise data platforms.
  • Demonstrated success driving alignment across complex organizations with diverse stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Deep expertise with Jira, portfolio management, roadmap planning, operating model design, and program delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, executive presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority and build alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with modern digital analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Heap, or similar technologies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data products, AI initiatives, self-service analytics, experimentation platforms, knowledge management systems, or product intelligence capabilities.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Analytics, Data, Research, AI, or Platform organizations in highly collaborative environments.
  • Experience supporting executive planning, portfolio governance, investment prioritization, KPI development, and operational review processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance strategic planning and operational execution.
  • Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace a minimum of 3 days per week is an essential function of the position. Selected candidate must be able to reliably meet this requirement.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Experience in media, streaming, subscription, or consumer digital product organizations.
  • Familiarity with Product Learning Systems, knowledge graphs, AI enablement, MCP architectures, data governance, or related technologies.
  • Experience managing strategic vendor partnerships and enterprise platform implementations.
  • Experience supporting analytics modernization initiatives, experimentation platforms, or enterprise-scale data transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of organizational change management methodologies and technology adoption strategies.
  • Experience establishing portfolio governance frameworks, operating models, KPI programs, or executive business review processes within Product, Data, Analytics, or Technology organizations.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $179,000.00-208,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
