We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Director of Revenue Management to join our Sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing revenue generation processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and optimizing revenue streams. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance.
Job DescriptionWhat you'll do...
- Leading the daily operations of reservations department, effectively support the reservations teams, including hiring, training, and implementing Standard Operating Procedures.
- Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations.
- Responsible for comprehensive training including technical, product knowledge and sales training.
- Coordinate training with third party training companies.
- Maximize revenues by ensuring your reservation team and colleagues have a high degree of knowledge of room product and hotel services.
- Ensure reservation execution is in line with revenue management strategy.
- Manage and optimize available room inventory.
- Assist with ensuring all Sell Level changes are administered in RMS, CRS and PMS systems.
- Lead the weekly Revenue meeting with GM and Sales leaders.
- Monitor and analyze competitor pricing strategies and demand generators and implement strategies to drive market share.
- Track statistics on reservation conversion, abandonment and service level metrics.
- Create 30, 60, 90 day forecasts on monthly basis.
- Provide operations forecasts for staffing levels to all Department heads.
- Manage relationships with third party vendors and e-channels.
- Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
- Liaison between our Reservations Manager and the Hotel.
- Assist in the development of new project proposals.
- Assisting various internal customers with general booking and availability questions.
What we are looking for...
- College degree in Hospitality, Business or similar field.
- Previous experience in hospitality industry, preferably a luxury, Four Star/Five Diamond property.
- Minimum 1-year experience as a Department Head.
- Previous 3 years in a supervisory/management role.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Excellent knowledge of reservations systems and procedures.
- Operational knowledge of property management and rate loading systems.
- Must have strong working knowledge of Infor HMS PMS, IDeas RMS, and SynXis CRS.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Computer expertise with spreadsheets and the ability to manipulate data into meaningful analysis.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately compute mathematical calculations.
- Must display strong analytical, organizational and administrative skills to be able to deal with multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English both verbally and in writing.
- Must be flexible with the ability to sustain a high level of productivity and efficiency at all times.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
