The Role
As Director of Sales, you will lead and scale a high-performing team of Account Partners responsible for selling Crossix solutions to leading Life Sciences organizations across North America. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our go-to-market strategy, driving marketing excellence for life sciences brands, and accelerating growth within a dynamic and expanding business. This is a critical leadership position with ownership over hiring, developing, and mentoring a diverse team while fostering a culture of performance, creativity, and collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Hire and manage a team of A-players to create and drive business into new and existing accounts
- Meet/exceed pipeline generation and new revenue targets set for the team
- Provide strategic guidance related to key opportunities and complete sales cycles
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, analytics, and C-level executives
- Accurate sales forecast and pipeline management
- Review and approve pricing and proposals
- Review and approve expense reports and other administrative tasks associated with managing an outside sales team
- Report and maintain timely and thorough notes pertaining to opportunities via Veeva’s CRM
- Be willing to travel 25%+
Requirements
- 8+ years experience selling digital media and advertising to Life Science Customers (Pharma, Health Systems, Insurance, Pharmacy) and/or enterprise software
- 2+ years experience managing a team of 3+ Account Executives selling software/digital media to Life Sciences companies (biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device or diagnostic)
- Understanding of life sciences media measurement landscape, as well as the people, processes, and technology in this industry
- Understanding of Enterprise Software sales cycles and associated Strategies & Tactics
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Be self-motivated, professional, confident, flexible, and results-driven
- Be proactive and driven approach, flexible
- Be willing to travel as required

Compensation
- Base pay: $135,000 - $300,000
- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
