Our values guide everything we do: we put merchants first, stay data‑driven, always know the why, learn relentlessly, and win together as a team. This clarity of purpose fuels our commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences at speed and scale.

Role Overview:

ClarityPay is seeking a Director/Mgr. of Sales Enablement and Content, a role that sits at the intersection of commercial storytelling, competitive intelligence, for outbound strategy, and sales effectiveness.

This colleague will own the development of all sales- and client-facing content, oversee competitive and market intelligence, design outbound campaign messaging, and drive alignment across Sales, Marketing, and Product. They will ensure consistent messaging across all GTM channels while maintaining a real‑time feedback loop to keep our narrative competitive, differentiated, and market‑relevant.

Success in this role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional writing skills, strong GTM acumen, and the ability to collaborate deeply with internal partners including Business Development, Marketing, Product, Operations, Risk, Finance, and Legal.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Narrative Development

  • Create and manage all sales content including playbooks, talk tracks, pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and persona‑specific materials.

  • Translate complex product, pricing, and market information into clear, compelling, seller‑ready narratives.

  • Collaborate with Marketing on the development of merchant messaging for advertising, digital content, and integrated campaigns.

  • Maintain brand, voice, and GTM strategy alignment across all sales-facing assets.

  • Build cohesive stories tailored to different buyer personas, industries, and funnel stages.

Outbound Strategy & Merchant Acquisition

  • Design outbound campaign messaging, themes, and content in close partnership with Commercial and Marketing teams.

  • Create and manage ABM and outbound sequences targeting ICP‑aligned accounts.

  • Support lead nurturing strategies with thought leadership and educational content that keeps prospects engaged.

Competitive Intelligence & Market Insights

  • Lead the competitive intelligence program, including battlecards, market scans, win/loss themes, and executive‑ready insights.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor moves, and market shifts; translate insights into actionable updates for Sales, Product, and Marketing.

  • Serve as the internal expert on market dynamics and their implications on messaging and positioning.

Sales Enablement & Sales Readiness

  • Develop and deliver sales enablement programs including onboarding, narrative training, and ongoing readiness sessions.

  • Ensure sellers understand—and consistently use—core messaging, competitive positioning, and GTM narratives.

  • Gather field insights and sales feedback to continuously evolve messaging, content, and enablement programs.

Content Governance & Quality

  • Maintain an organized, searchable content library with version control and usage analytics.

  • Establish standards for tone, structure, clarity, and required components for all sales assets.

  • Evaluate content performance to identify gaps, strengthen adoption, and improve effectiveness.

Data, Systems & Reporting

  • Partner with VP, Merchant Marketing on CRM (HubSpot) optimization, reporting, and content tracking.

  • Leverage data and call insights to refine messaging and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Report on content performance, enablement impact, and competitive trends to senior stakeholders.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Continually promote and exemplify ClarityPay’s values through trust, integrity, and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Curious, energetic, positive, solution‑oriented, collaborative, and trusted.

  • What this role is not: it is not a sales training role or a direct sales role; this role focuses on taking market information, competitive information and continuously analyzing it- keeping a pulse on industry trends and data. Creating content across channels to deliver compelling narratives for sales and for marketing to win new business, that is the intersection of content and enablement.

  • 3 – 8+ years of experience in sales enablement, content strategy, product marketing, or GTM roles.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration or equivalent work experience with another bachelor’s degree.

  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and narrative development skills.

  • Strong communication and executive presentation capabilities.

  • Highly skilled in building sales content across multiple formats (web, email, SMS, decks, one‑pagers).

  • Strong content judgment and design instincts; familiarity with tools such as Figma, Canva, and AI content assistants.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate in early‑stage, fast‑moving environments.

  • Experience with sales operations, processes, and CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).

  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of performance reporting.

  • Effective at cross‑department collaboration and influence at scale.

  • Financial acumen: preferred lending experience.

  • Able to travel up to 20%.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive fixed and variable compensation package.

  • Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision).

  • Collaborative office culture with a strong focus on merchants and their customers.

  • Opportunities to grow, lead, and shape the future of consumer finance.

  • 401(k) program.

Role Details:

  • Preference for New York City

  • Reports to the VP of Merchant Marketing.

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $165,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
