The Opportunity

Doodle Labs is hiring a Director of Sales with a successful track record of driving revenue growth in B2B sales. They will lead a primarily OEM-focused team of SDRs and Sales Engineers to achieve sales success through active coaching and honing of the sales process. They will establish a strong team cadence and drive the right behaviors to build a healthy pipeline.

The ideal candidate will have experience scaling sales operations at mid to large technology companies.

Competitive compensation for this position will be a combination of a base salary and commission.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Commit to and drive revenue based on assigned quarterly targets.
  • Mentor and coach Sales Engineers on a world class sales team.
  • Heavily involved in deal strategy and collaborating with Sales Engineers and Application Engineers to ensure the success of each opportunity.
  • Manage pipeline forecasting, account assignment, quota achievement, and own overall team revenue targets.

 

Key Attributes

  • Proven track record as a top-performing enterprise seller.
  • Demonstrated ability leading sales teams selling ground-breaking hardware, OEM, and/or Enterprise solutions.
  • Strong people management, mentoring, coaching and development experience.
  • Alignment with company values.
  • Exposure to the drone and robotics industry is a plus.

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience meeting quota as an Enterprise Sales Rep and 2+ years managing a sales team with a complex enterprise sales process.
  • Rough breakdown of responsibilities as follows:
  • 40% frontline managing the sales team
  • 40% on deals, closing business
  • 10% department-level management
  • 10% executive-level responsibilities
  • Presentation and reporting skills.
