Position Summary:

Skywire Networks is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Sales Operations to lead sales support, analytics, enablement, and operational strategy across our commercial and residential segments. This critical leadership role will drive sales performance by improving systems, processes, and reporting while serving as the connective tissue between sales, product, marketing, finance, and operations.

The ideal candidate will bring deep telecommunications industry experience, with a clear understanding of commercial and residential service models, sales cycles, provisioning processes, and CRM/quoting systems commonly used in the telecom sector.________________________________________

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Enablement, Oversight & Optimization

• Lead and scale sales enablement strategies for direct and indirect sales teams, with tailored resources for both commercial and residential services.

• Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and process automation across all sales workflows in collaboration with Sales leadership.

• Develop and maintain training programs, playbooks, and collateral to accelerate onboarding and empower sales success.

• Design and manage incentive structures and commission processes in collaboration with finance across direct, agent and wholesale partners.

• Partner with IT to enhance CRM functionality, drive adoption of enhancements, and enable accelerated sales and lead generation across all engagement models.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Serve as the operational intermediary between Sales, Product, and Marketing to support offer development, product launches, and market positioning.

• Coordinate GTM planning and rollout for new products and pricing strategies.

• Ensure sales feedback and customer feedback are incorporated into product development and roadmap planning.

• Collaborate with Billing, Operations and Finance to ensure alignment on pricing, offer implementation, service provisioning, offer implementation and revenue recognition.

Customer Experience Alignment & Customer Care Collaboration

• Act as a strategic liaison between Sales and Customer Care to ensure seamless customer transitions, issue resolution, and lifecycle support.

• Establish operational KPIs and accountability frameworks for Customer Care performance, focused on satisfaction and retention.

• Identify friction points in the post-sale customer journey and co-develop solutions that drive continuous improvement.

• Align sales operations with customer support capabilities to ensure scalable, responsive service delivery.

• Champion a customer-first culture by incorporating customer feedback and support trends into sales strategy, training, and process improvement initiatives.

Sales Analytics & Cancellations Management

• Deliver accurate and timely reporting on pipeline health, bookings, churn, cancellations, and sales effectiveness.

• Proactively identify patterns in lost sales and cancellations and recommend process improvements or offer adjustments to increase close rates and reduce churn.

• Own monthly and quarterly sales performance reporting and forecasting accuracy.

Channel Partner Support

• Act as a key operational liaison to Skywire's agent and channel partner ecosystem.

• Support agent onboarding, CRM access, enablement tools, and incentive communications.

• Monitor and analyze agent productivity to identify opportunities for growth and engagement.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Sales Enablement within the telecommunications industry.

• Proven experience managing and optimizing Salesforce.com and related tools (CPQ, reporting dashboards, etc.).

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to derive insights from complex datasets.

• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience supporting both direct sales teams and agent/channel partners.

• Strong project management skills with an ability to execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA a plus.
