About the Role
- Our Search Directors operate as our representatives in the market and key thought partners to our clients and leaders in the healthcare industry- both on the operating and investing side. You will be asked to develop a comprehensive understanding of our clients, their markets, products/services, competition, and differentiation. This will inform both the executive search process and Oxeon’s broader investment and company creation efforts.
- You'll conduct market research and interviews with the management teams of our clients in order to develop a deep understanding of specific client needs with regard to human capital; you'll investigate both short and medium-term business objectives and how they align with people. You will utilize internal and external databases to source and engage potential executive-level candidates.
- You'll lead a team on each search that is responsible for contacting and deeply interviewing prospective candidates by telephone, video, or in-person meetings. You will be assessing for cultural fit, interest level and overall level of expertise of these executives. (This is one of our favorite aspects of this job!)
- You’ll interact with the leadership teams and Board of Directors at our client organizations to harmonize search direction and guide weekly search updates and conversations, serving as the Search Lead for 3-5 searches while also contributing to an additional 2-3 searches at any given time.
- You’ll be responsible for leveraging your network to add new clients to the Oxeon portfolio that align with our market focus.
- You will develop and leverage business development skills to continue increasing Oxeon’s brand across top investors and companies in the industry.
- Perhaps most importantly, we'll trust you to hire and develop our most valuable asset - our people. You'll be responsible for both the day-to-day and long term growth of our high-performing Associates and Senior Associates through direct management and informal mentorship.

- You have 6-12 years of relevant work experience in executive recruiting that positions you to run an excellent search process as a strong client advisor, project manager, and people leader
