Director of SEO

***This is a fully remote position.****

El Toro Interactive is a digital marketing agency that lies in a full service eCommerce ecosystem, specializing in fashion and beauty. With aim to have the best talent in the US, so physical location is not an issue. *****This is a Remote Position*****

The SEO Director will lead the SEO team of 3+ team members. This role will be responsible for guiding the agency’s SEO service offering, defining and managing team processes and deliverables, and will manage the team P&L. Additionally, this role will represent the SEO team and service offering on sales calls, and make recommendations for engagements with new clients. This role reports to the Senior Director of El Toro Interactive. 

SEO Expert

• Act as the SEO expert for the agency
• Be responsible for keeping on top of all SEO industry updates, trends, and best practices, and implement into team processes and strategies
• Create and manage SEO team roadmap

Team Leadership

• Process documentation and training
• Create and manage templates for SEO team deliverables
• Create and manage processes for deliverables with associated recommended hours per deliverable
• Ensure the team is trained and can execute deliverables
• Onboard Jira and guide team adoption of new process
• Manage hour pacing for all clients
• Review team Harvest time regularly to ensure the team is tracking time correctly, especially as it relates to billable clients
• Responsible for escalating team needs for success
• Team management includes:
• Regular 1x1s with team members
• Team meetings and trainings
• Responsible for relaying SEO team and industry updates to greater team during full internal team meeting
• Owns team P&L

Sales Support

• Sales audits and presentations
• Project scoping

The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000; however El Toro considers several factors during the hiring process, including but not limited to, responsibilities, the role, experience, education, training, and key skills.
