At Ripple, we’re building a world where value moves like information does today. It’s big, it’s bold, and we’re already doing it. Through our crypto solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments and developers, we are improving the global financial system and creating greater economic fairness and opportunity for more people, in more places around the world. And we get to do the best work of our career and grow our skills surrounded by colleagues who have our backs.

If you’re ready to see your impact and unlock incredible career growth opportunities, join us, and build real world value.

THE WORK:

Ripple seeks a Director of Social and Community to guide our global social media, owned channels, and community involvement plan. We need a leader who goes beyond social media management to create cultural moments, defy conventions, and establish Ripple as a leading voice in crypto and blockchain.

This role is highly visible and demands great trust. You will define how Ripple appears publicly by leading creative ideas, real-time engagement, and storytelling in a fast-paced setting. Positioned where brand, communications, content, and product meet, this position calls for sharp judgment, keen instincts, and the capacity to act swiftly while maintaining credibility and trust.

If you think in big swings, not safe swings - keep reading!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop Ripple’s worldwide social and community approach across platforms (X, LinkedIn, YouTube, emerging channels)
  • Lead a high-performing team in a fast paced environment, setting clear direction while empowering bold thinking and experimentation
  • Innovate by developing and delivering big, bold, differentiated ideas that elevate Ripple’s leadership, spark conversation, and stand out in crowded, noisy moments. The sky is the limit here.
  • Partner with senior executives to build distinctive, credible, high-impact digital presences. Not templated thought leadership but POVs that lead conversations
  • Champion and expand Ripple’s global communities, maintaining institutional credibility while encouraging genuine involvement throughout the XRP and crypto ecosystems
  • Lead real-time and issues-based engagement, including regulatory developments, market moments, and rapid response scenarios
  • Move beyond vanity metrics. Build a framework that measures influence, narrative shift, sentiment strength, authority, and business impact.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 10+ years of experience in social media, community, or digital communications. This includes senior leadership at a global brand or high-growth technology company. Experience in crypto is a huge plus.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-visibility environments with shifting priorities and public scrutiny
  • Equal parts strategist and creator with the capability of crafting thoughtful narratives one day and meme-worthy brilliance the next (or both together).
  • The judgment to know when to lean in, and when to hold the line.
  • Strong editorial judgment and the ability to simplify complex ideas without losing nuance
  • Clear track record of delivering out of the box ideas that drives impact, not just activity
  • Data-informed decision maker with a clear point of view on meaningful metrics
Why This Role Matters

Social and community are central to Ripple’s leadership position in the market. This role will build how Ripple interacts with the world in real time, fostering trust, credibility, and influence across institutions, policymakers, and the broader digital asset ecosystem.
