Are you ready to take your career to the next level and lead a dynamic team of Solution Consulting Managers and Solution Consultants? We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Solution Consulting to join our Sustainability Reporting focused Solution Consulting team. 

As a Director of Solution Consulting, you will play a key role in shaping our strategy, developing innovative tools, and implementing measurements that drive organizational growth. You will lead strategic projects that align with the mission of our Solution Consulting organization, making a significant impact on our success. You will partner with Sales leadership and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive strategy based on valuable insights from industry trends, staying up to date with evolving global Sustainability regulations, and soliciting feedback from the field. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Solution Consulting Managers and Solution Consultants. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

  • Establish best practices, offer guidance in technical expertise, customer understanding, and presales organizational goals

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to sales and solution leadership, providing insights on Sustainability best practices, latest regulations, and how that translates to our Go to Market strategy

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineer, and Product Marketing teams to align on Go To Market strategies, offering technical guidance as required

  • Oversee the complete employee lifecycle, from recruitment to performance management.

  • Create and optimize processes, metrics, and infrastructure to enhance Solution Consulting productivity and achieve sales goals

  • Contribute to the development of strategies, tools, and metrics to drive overall organizational growth and lead strategic projects aligned with the Solution Consulting organization's mission

  • Accountable for the Solution Consultant team's training and motivation to ensure goal attainment

  • Independently analyze industry trends for process improvement opportunities

  • Foster technical thought leadership in areas like architecture, processes, and operationalization to encourage adoption by technical stakeholders during the sales process

  • Participate in team-building and company growth activities, including strategy development, sales training, marketing efforts, and enhancing the customer experience

  • Provide comprehensive presales support for all sales activities, encompassing needs analysis, data review, product demonstrations, and general sales support, taking on a player/coach role

  • Define opportunities for coaching and skill development for Solution Consulting team members

What You’ll Need 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years related experience in a presales or consulting environment, or Master's degree with 8 years related experience, or PhD with 6 years related experience

  • Carbon accounting and/or sustainability reporting related experience including familiarity with various sustainability reporting frameworks such as CDP, GRI, SASB, CSRD, ISSB, TCFD, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years direct people management experience preferred, including supervisor experience of managers

  • Solution consulting experience preferred

  • Strong business background, with significant client interface experience and exposure to business development

  • Proven track record of building, leading, and mentoring a high performing team

  • Experience with Carbon Accounting and Sustainability Reporting solutions is a plus

  • Hands-on experience with Workiva solutions is a plus

Travel Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Up to 40% travel

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office

How You’ll Be Rewarded

✅ Salary range in the US: $154,000.00 - $250,000.00

✅ Eligible for commission based on sales performance

✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
