POSITION TITLE:              Director, Strategic Accounts

NAME OF EMPLOYER:    TransPerfect Translations International, Inc.

JOB DESCRIPTION:          TransPerfect Translations International, Inc. seeks to hire a Director, Strategic Accounts to work in our office in New York, New York. The position of Director, Strategic Accounts (DSA) is responsible for developing new business relationships and serving as the first level of support to existing clients.

The Director of Strategic Accounts will perform the following duties:

  • Be responsible for the management of contracts (Preferred Provider Agreements, Master Services Agreements, etc.) with clients in the dedicated territory, including leading contract review and renewal, proposal writing, projects estimates, and price negotiations.
  • Schedule meetings with existing clients, and introduce clients to new technology solutions offered by the Company.
  • Educate prospective and existing clients regarding the translation process, including how the Company charges, validation for turnaround time, and competitors’ information.
  • Be responsible for the client side of projects, including setting and communicating project details and delivery dates to Production departments.
  • Liaise with Production to ensure that all jobs are handled appropriately and with keen attention to detail, resulting in a perfect product.
  • Consistently follow-up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality, and customer service.
  • Investigate with Production any claims of poor quality or questions from clients after a translation has been completed.
  • Research and understand all industries that TransPerfect markets to, including industry leaders, current events and any other pertinent data.
  • Attend Trade Shows, Conferences, Events, and Functions relating to the industry in order to develop contacts and leads.
  • Utilize creative skills to improve the design and development of marketing campaigns throughout the industry.
  • Implement new initiatives to further develop business in the designated verticals in the dedicated region through new mailing lists, referral programs, cold calling, presentations, extending existing Preferred Provider relationships.
  • Create monthly plans and performance reports for Vice President of Sales
  • Bill completed jobs in a timely fashion.
  • Aggressively pursue due and overdue unpaid revenue from clients via phone calls, letters, and other creative methods to make certain that clients pay in a timely manner.
  • Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:                Req. Master of Science in Media Management or related field. The successful candidate must also have one (1) year of experience as an Account Executive, which includes six (6) months of experience preparing comprehensive analytics and utilizing these tools: Canva and Keap CRM.

RATE OF PAY:                    $82,139.00/yr. to $82,139.00/yr.
