Director, Strategic Partnerships

Director, Strategic Partnerships 

The Director, Strategic Partnerships is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding one of CYPFER's most important strategic partnerships. This leadership role focuses on driving revenue growth, strengthening executive relationships, and executing joint go-to-market initiatives with a designated Tier 1 alliance partner, while also cultivating a Tier 2 partner and identifying new white-space opportunities. 
 

The Director, Strategic Partnerships serves as the primary relationship owner for strategic cybersecurity alliances and is responsible for developing deep relationships across sales, incident response, consulting, channel, and executive leadership teams. Success in this role is measured through pipeline generation, revenue growth, partner engagement, and overall market influence. 

 

The Director, Strategic Partnerships works closely with CYPFER's executive leadership, sales, engagement management, digital forensics, incident response, and recovery teams to position CYPFER as the preferred partner for cyber incident response, digital forensics, ransomware recovery, and cyber resilience services. 

 

Core Responsibilities 

Strategic Partnerships Leadership 

  • Serve as the executive relationship owner for an assigned Tier 1 strategic alliance partner and designated Tier 2 partner(s)as decided by Leadership.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans designed to increase partner-generatedpipeline, revenue, market awareness, and executive engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partner executives, regional sales leaders, channel managers, incident response leaders, consultants, and field teams. 
  • Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions with key partner stakeholders.

 

Revenue & Pipeline Development 

  • Develop, manage, and grow a qualified pipeline of opportunities sourced through partner relationships.
  • Collaborate with CYPFER sales, engagement management, and technical teams to convert partner-generated opportunities into revenue-producing engagements.
  • Identify opportunities to expand CYPFER's footprint within assigned partner ecosystems, regions, and business units. 
  • Consistently achieve assigned revenue, pipeline, and partner performance objectives.

 

Executive Relationship Management 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to partner leadership and field teams, ensuring they understand CYPFER's capabilities, service offerings, and value proposition.
  • Build relationships with senior executives, incident response teams, legal counsel, cyber insurance stakeholders, and cybersecurity leaders across the partner ecosystem.
  •  Represent CYPFER at executive briefings, partner events, industry conferences, and strategic meetings.

 

Joint Go-To-Market Execution 

  • Develop and execute joint marketing, business development, educational, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Coordinate executive dinners, client roundtables, webinars, conference activities, and partner-sponsored events.
  • Identify opportunities for joint account targeting, field engagement, and market expansion. 

 

White Space Development 

  • Identify and cultivate new strategic relationships that complement CYPFER's existing alliance ecosystem. 
  • Evaluate emerging partners within cybersecurity, legal, insurance, consulting, and technology sectors.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies for new alliance opportunities.

 

Internal Collaboration 

  • Work closely with engagement managers, digital forensics, incident response, recovery, and executive leadership teams to ensure exceptional partner and client experiences.
  • Provide partner intelligence, market insights, competitive intelligence, and growth recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and partner activity metrics within CRM systems. 

 

Qualification Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Significant experience in alliance management, channel sales, strategic partnerships, business development, or cybersecurity sales. 
  • Proven success managing complex strategic partnerships and generating measurable revenue growth through partner ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, incident response, digital forensics, ransomware recovery, cyber resilience, and related services.
  • Existing relationships within leading cybersecurity ecosystems, including cybersecurity vendors, consulting firms, law firms, or cyber insurance organizations, are highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated success engaging C-suite executives, partner leadership, and senior stakeholders. 
  • Experience presenting at industry conferences, partner events, executive briefings, client meetings, and business development engagements is highly desired.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives without direct authority.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in high-growth, fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 
  • A strong work ethic, high level of integrity, and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
