Director of Strategy and Operations

The Role

As a Director within our Student Operations team, you will design and own key operational processes to ensure high outcomes for a part of the student experience. You will become a subject-matter expert and experiment with solutions that can support 10x growth in active students. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with other Operations teams, Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, and our Learning team. You will be responsible for building a team over time and establishing clear roles and responsibilities for owning key metrics. This role reports into our Head of Operations.

• Own operational processes and achieve success metrics, focusing on a part of the student journey from graduation to job placement

• Develop and execute creative initiatives and experiments to improve the student experience at scale

• Collaborate regularly with our Product and Operations teams to design and implement solutions that satisfy our students’ needs

• Work cross-functionally with our Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams to provide visibility into trainee feedback and help inform their roadmaps

This job is for you if:

• You have operational experience in a direct-to-consumer startup

• You have 10+ years of experience, with a mix consulting and startup operations

• You are passionate about helping students change their lives through access to education

• You are highly analytical with strong communication skills

• You are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done successfully

• You learn quickly through experimentation

• You thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Bonus points if:

• You worked in healthcare or EdTech

• You have taught or coordinated online courses at scale

• You have an MBA

Compensation:

Base Salary: $160k - $210k

Equity: 0.06% - 0.1%
