Director, Strategy & Partnerships
Location: New York, NY

EverPass is seeking a Director of Strategy & Partnerships to partner with the executive team on the company's highest-priority strategic, commercial, content, and distribution initiatives. This individual will play a key role in evaluating growth opportunities, sports and entertainment rights, strategic partnerships, and new routes to market, with responsibility for assessing the financial, competitive, and commercial implications of key business decisions.

The ideal candidate combines strong strategic judgment with exceptional financial and quantitative capabilities and a commercial mindset. This person will evaluate opportunities across pricing, packaging, go-to-market strategy, distribution, partnership economics, and commercialization, translating complex market and financial analysis into clear recommendations for senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities
•    Partner with the executive team to shape and evaluate strategic priorities, growth opportunities, commercial initiatives, and key business decisions.
•    Lead the evaluation of sports and entertainment rights opportunities, including rights fees, minimum guarantees, revenue-share structures, subscriber and customer assumptions, distribution economics, and expected profitability.
•    Evaluate content, distribution, and strategic partnership opportunities from initial business case through negotiation and execution, developing recommendations on deal structure, economics, strategic fit, and long-term value creation.
•    Assess pricing, packaging, go-to-market strategy, unit economics, and commercialization opportunities across existing and emerging products, content offerings, and customer segments.
•    Identify and evaluate new distribution channels, platforms, partners, customer segments, and routes to market that can expand reach, accelerate growth, and improve commercial performance.
•    Build sophisticated financial models, forecasts, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses to assess partnerships, investments, rights opportunities, business cases, and strategic alternatives.
•    Monitor and synthesize the competitive landscape, sports-media rights trends, streaming and distribution economics, customer behavior, and emerging business models to identify opportunities and inform company strategy.
•    Develop executive-level recommendations, presentations, dashboards, and decision materials that translate complex financial, market, and strategic analysis into clear actions and tradeoffs.
•    Lead strategic analysis and business reviews for key content and commercial partnerships, identifying performance trends, risks, and opportunities to expand or optimize relationships.
•    Partner cross-functionally with Content, Finance, Legal, Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations to translate strategic recommendations into executable commercial plans.
•    Support corporate development, investment, and other strategic transactions, including market assessment, financial analysis, due diligence, and business-case development.
•    Apply AI and emerging analytical tools to accelerate research, financial analysis, scenario modeling, competitive intelligence, and executive decision support.

Qualifications
•    5-7 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, investment banking, strategic finance, corporate development, partnerships, consulting, or a similarly rigorous analytical and commercial environment.
•    Prior investment banking or consulting experience strongly preferred.
•    Exceptional financial modeling and quantitative analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to evaluate complex deal structures, investment opportunities, and business cases.
•    Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of pricing, unit economics, go-to-market strategy, and partnership economics.
•    AI proficiency, with demonstrated ability to use AI-enabled tools to accelerate research, analysis, modeling, and decision-making.
•    Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with demonstrated ability to develop executive-ready analyses and recommendations.
•    Ability to synthesize complex financial, market, customer, and competitive information into clear strategic recommendations.
•    Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly.
•    Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple high-priority workstreams in a fast-moving environment.
