Our platform combines hyper-realistic AI-powered training simulations with intelligent QA to support frontline teams in mission-critical conversations. Our platform operates in 25+ languages, is exceptionally customizable to meet each customer’s unique needs, and is used every day by organizations ranging from crisis support call centers to healthcare organizations to customer service teams to sales teams negotiating big deals — any organization where empathy, quality, and excellence matter in every interaction.

What you'll own

  • Lead recruiting and talent acquisition. Partner closely with hiring managers to source, attract, and close exceptional candidates, and build a hiring process that reflects best-in-class practices.
  • Own people ops end-to-end across the full employee lifecycle, building scalable processes and infrastructure that grow with the company.
  • Own benefits and total rewards. Manage benefits enrollment and administration, and help us offer compensation and perks that are competitive, fair, and sustainable.
  • Build a great onboarding and offboarding experience so that someone's first days and last days are handled with intention and care.
  • Own HR compliance and policies. Ensure we remain compliant with zero deviations across a competitive compliance posture across HIPAA, SOC2, GDPR, HITRUST, and ISO 27001.
  • Steward our culture. Build a team culture that is very kind and very competitive as we continue to scale, through both structured team events and routine engagement with employees across the organization.
  • Run performance management. Design and operate review cycles, support managers in giving meaningful feedback, and tie performance to growth and development.
  • Handle employee relations with empathy and good judgment, serving as a trusted, confidential resource for the team.
  • Own our HRIS and people operations systems. Build and maintain a high-performing, integrated tooling stack (ATS, HRIS, analytics, and the integrations between them) that gives us accurate data and smooth operations across the employee lifecycle.
  • Drive workforce planning. Collaborate with leadership to forecast hiring needs, build headcount plans that align with budget and business goals, and ensure we have the right people in the right roles as we scale.

Requirements for a great fit

  • Significant (7+ years) experience in talent and people operations leadership, including time in startup environments where you are building processes and implementing new systems.
  • Experience owning (not just utilizing) the core platforms used in people operations including ATS, HRIS, and performance management.
  • Partnered closely with leaders to drive recruitment and onboarding of incredible team members in an efficient and candidate-centric process.
  • Experience operating in a complex environment, such as managing remote employees across 10+ states and/or meeting requirements for standards such as HIPAA.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to articulate in a clear and compelling way across internal and external audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience as the primary point person on sensitive matters, including workplace investigations, terminations, restructurings, contentious exits, and more.
  • Experience leading company-wide initiatives that have included, but not been limited to: new compensation structure, performance and leveling, HR systems, and remote/hybrid work.

What we offer

  • Some of the most rewarding work you will ever do, solving real problems and helping people be the best versions of themselves
  • Working alongside a team that is exceptionally smart and ambitious, but also humble and kind
  • Generous retirement, equity, healthcare, and PTO policies
