Role Overview
The Director of Technical Product Management will own the technical product vision, strategy, and execution for Skan’s Agentic AI platform. This role is intended for a deeply technical product leader who operates comfortably at the intersection of enterprise-scale systems, AI/ML platforms, and complex data workflows. You will lead a team of Product Managers while remaining hands-on with architecture-level decisions and technical trade-offs.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the technical product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the Agentic AI platform.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Product Managers focused on platform, AI/ML, and data-centric capabilities.
- Partner closely with engineering and data science leadership on architecture, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Translate complex enterprise problems into detailed technical product requirements and measurable outcomes.
- Guide decisions across the AI lifecycle including data ingestion, model development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Oversee delivery across multiple product workstreams, ensuring technical quality and enterprise readiness.
- Act as the technical product voice in executive, customer, and partner discussions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to inform platform evolution.
Qualifications & Experience
- 14+ years of professional experience, including 10+ years in product management roles within enterprise software or SaaS environments.
- Proven experience owning highly technical platforms such as AI/ML, data, automation, or infrastructure products.
- Strong technical fluency across system architecture, APIs, data pipelines, cloud platforms, and AI/ML workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to work deeply with engineering teams and influence architectural decisions.
- Experience leading and mentoring Product Managers in technical product organizations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience working with enterprise customers in regulated industries is a strong plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field required. An MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.
